It’s trance, but not necessarily as you know it. Here, Ponytronic seems to blend a couple of different styles of the genre – on one side it’s got the uptempo beat of uplifting trance, but also the chill and melodic elements of the kind of music I remember from artists such as SoaringFlight. Overall, a good combination, check it out trance fam!

Haardtek – Memories | Trance
Now there’s a name I haven’t seen in a while! Haardtek is back, being repped on A State of Sugar with his new song Memories. While the track is trance throughout the most part of its 8 minute duration, there’s a nice little garage-beat-style breakdown in there that creates a nice variation. Definitely one to check out for classic trance fans!

SoaringFlight – Dashin’ Dreams (Sonic Rainboom Remix) | Trance

Having made a few tracks in different styles, Sonic Rainboom returns to what he is arguably one of the best in the fandom at now – long form trance music, effortlessly and wonderfully evolving over a relatively sizeable period of time. This one is a remix of the late SoaringFlight’s piece Dashin’ Dreams, punctuated by lovely arpeggiated synths and a really nice lead sound. Make sure to check it out below for an 8 minute journey to sweep you away.
Violin Melody – Wonderland | Trance
December = winter ∴ wonderland. Or at least I imagine that’s the logic behind the name of this trancey piece from Violin Melody. Check this out if you’re into 140bpm stuff with plenty of light, melodic elements.
Horse Music Central – Vol. 1 | Complilation Album | Multi-Genre

Horse Music Central, a group for brony musicians, have released their first compilation album, organised by FruityFusion, Spectra and Violin Melody, called Horse Music Vol. 1! This album, comprising 14 tracks, features relatively established artists such as Ryazan, fractilx and FruityFusion himself, as well as other new and upcoming artists such as Filly in the Box, Intersekt and Lunar Dance. With the money made from the album going towards charity, it’s definitely something worth checking out if you like compilation projects (I know I do!). Luna takes us once again in her sweet Trance embrace, with a track that is of the most accomplished mixing and mastering-wise. Enthralling Trance rythms, warm background synths and beautiful piano melodies all make this track a timeless masterpiece to enjoy.
