“Far and Wide” is a lovely collaboration between three artists with Nexgen and Gryf each taking a verse to slam down bars and Angel Melody gluing them together with choruses. Gryf’s low voice slips perfectly into the ebb and flow of the instrumental with its higher pitched whistles, Angel Melody’s sections leave the listener longing for more with how her voice trails over the e-piano. Nexgen takes us home with the second verse, which continues to build up the character of the blade dancer, established in a release earlier this year. Overall, it’s a fun piece with its three characters all with very different agendas coming together.

Jeff Burgess & Sole Screwdriver – Birds of Paradise | Pop Rock
It’s always great hearing a new track by Jeff Burgess, especially one that is his first original track in about a year, and one of a few new pony-related tracks released in the past half decade or so. Joined by his friend, Sole Screwdriver, “Birds of Paradise” is a very airy & easy to listen to track with a light, yet energetic acoustic guitar leading the instrumentation. Jeff’s vocals are the cherry on top, showcasing that same amazing talent that creates that signature emotion behind all of his music. We’re going to be missing you for the next four years, Jeff. Hope all goes well with the Air Force. We can’t wait to hear what amazing music you’ll create when you’re back!
Koron Korak – Peace of Twilight | Lo-Fi
Koron Korak’s Peace of Twilight is a highly melodic lo-fi track made especially for this year’s Twilight Day! It starts with a lovely epiano drifting carelessly over static noise before the kick drum comes in, soon to be accompanied by the snare and a prolonged chop of Twilight’s voice, left dangling. The middle features some lovely saxophone rifts and variations on the earlier theme. It’s a very relaxing tune and comes with complimenting visuals featuring Twilight reading on a train.
rawrity – ready or not! | pop
rawrity’s feel good pop tunes just keep on coming! ready or not has a sound with a sort of unique blend of indie and electronica, that somehow feels both new and nostalgic at the same time. Take a listen and marvel with her at the prettiest purple princess idol!

EveryDayDashie – Crusade for the Lost Mark | Medieval / Epic Orchestral
EveryDayDashie’s far from the first pony to have a go at big epic medieval sounds, but they’ve sure nailed it with and put their own mark on the style! Lots of layers of percussion create a driving rhythm and a blend of woodwind and string instruments make melodies that cut through the wall of sound that hits you. If you like this, be sure to check the rest of Dashie’s collection of genre fusions – mixing various world styles with more contemporary sounds.
[P@D] The Wonderbolts! – Nightmare | Heavy Progressive Rock
After a few years touring through the conventions out there, the Wonderbolts are finally back with a track release, and what a way to come back it is! Pulling you in with a mix of hi-hats, drums, keyboard and bass, garnished with captivating vocals, the song takes you on a journey through the realm of Nightmare Moon. The musical arrangement does not get topped off just by including bells in the mix but especially the guitar solo leading you across this enthralling dream with such intensity, you will not notice how quick the nearly 7 minute long experience ends, making you hit repeat again and again.
[P@D] Jyc Row & Gabriel Borza – Protector [守り者 / Mamorisha] [ft. X] | J-Rock
Jyc Row never ceases to amaze us with his creativity and ability to delve into such diverse genres, this time collaborating with guitarist Gabriel Borza and an undisclosed singer (referred to as X) with another song for his “Infinite Eclipse Origin” series. Styled like an anime opening song, it is the mix of the three musicians that make this song incredible: Gabriel’s energetic guitars & dynamic drumming, Jyc Row’s always astonishing orchestral aspects, and X’s unbelievable vocal talent. Even if you are not into J-Rock or any music in this style, it is definitely worth a listen!

[P@D] SP1TF1R3, BlackIceMusic & L-Train – Time to Play (feat. 4EverfreeBrony) | Electro Swing / Bounce
For a track about Discord, this one does a great job harmonizing two normally-separate genres! “Time to Play” combines the talents of two of the fandom’s best electro-swing producers as well as two of the fandom’s best bounce producers. Listen for the smooth, alluring vocals of 4EverfreeBrony as Discord gives you a personal tour showcasing the true glory of chaos, turning your imagination into his personal theater, as the (sometimes circus-like) instrumentals paint a picture in your mind’s eye that you just can’t peel yourself away from. This is the perfect track for an album titled Pandemonium, which is a fantastic addition to the Ponies at Dawn series. The catchy beats from SP1TF1R3 and BlackIceMusic combined with L-Train’s instrumentals make this track one that’s perfect for DJ sets of multiple genres, or just to listen to on its own.
