The first pony song from Sayonara Maxwell we’ve seen in a while – last one was back in December – and it’s one for Nightmare Moon. It’s great that even over 5 years after the season 1 premiere, we’re still making fan content about her; just goes to show when a character really sticks with an audience.

Drawing from several stylistic influences, AnimatronicPony creates a grooving sci-fi soundscape with this latest track. While most of the song is carried by a hip hop beat supported by ethereal pads, there are additionally moments of aggressive build up. Also, bonus points for cyborg ponies 🙂
