El Nulevoe – Power Metal Cartoon Horse (The Remakening) | Power Metal

He’s baaaaaaaaaaacccckkkkkkkk. The most active Sombra-metal musician strikes again with a power metal track about the Umbrum’s great takeover. The war rages over metal chugs, a familiar guitar riff, double-petal drumming, and sung narration of the violence happening across Equestria. May the princesses help us indeed!

PumpkinZ – Clear the Rain | Kawaii Future Bass

PumpkinZ ‘s Future Bass track, “Clear the Rain” is a fun piece that manages to be both calm and driving in equal measure. It is their first attempt at producing music of the kawaii genre, and
it is a pleasant mix of calmer sections with a nice plethora of risers and drops — I could write to this music all night long. Quick and upbeat, it is enjoyable music that deserves all the love it might acquire.

PumpkinZ – If Only | Downtempo

PumpkinZ’s “If Only” is a simple, but elegant Luna themed track. It starts minimally, with a single synth crescendo-ing, and from there it builds, adding a plucked synth along the way, and finally reaching the final riser and landing that sweet drop! Its mellow bass, crisp bass and snare, and bright chiptune-esque synths make the second half of the song so seductive, and its gradual fading out is a nice finishing touch. It’s a very calm and relaxing track, so make sure to check it out!

METALBRONY – Call Me Broken | Pop Metal

The insanely amazing vocals of Celica Soldream are on full display with this powerful rock track about our favorite hornless unicorn. Using their metal moniker, METALBRONY unleashes this self-reflective moment of Tempest Shadow accepting her past and emboldening herself to move on. Celica’s strong, emotional vocals belt the powerful hook, telling her oppressor “THANK YOU” for their wrongdoings so she could finally understand she’s not “Broken”; you won’t be able to get this chorus out of your head (nor will you want to)!

Ryleo Goldridge & Daniel Ingram – Dreaming is Believing vs A Changeling Can Change (Faulty Mashup) | Pop

Back in the sixth season, Spike’s plea in favour of Thorax was a heartwarming song about the changes a character can still go through free from the burdens of one’s origin and past. With this mashup, Faulty gives this defense a more upbeat spin by letting Spike sing to Ryleo Goldbridge‘s “Dreaming is Believing”. Both titles on their own were a joy to listen to already, and this combination of them is no different, so give it a listen!

EveryDayDashie – Lunar New Fiesta 新春嘉年華 | Orchestral

The Chinese New Year might have happened nearly half a year ago already, but this song about the festivities around this date by EveryDayDashie is not to be reserved just for this specific time! In addition to Dashie’s signature Chinese style of composing, the track is inter-weaved with instruments and rhythms usually attributed to marching bands. The resulting genre fusion works fantastically and is a pleasure to listen to, so ensure to treat your ears to it!

My Band – Race On! | Pop/Pop Rock

Explicit lyric warning: some degenerate lyrics

A fascinating show of music talent from our fandom that is as awesome as it is crazy hopping from genre to genre. Want some funky pop? Starts right off with it! Some rock? They got you covered! Mix it up with a bit of rap? Hop right into this stitched together automobile of marvel! The ingredients used for this masterpiece of a hodgepodge may look weird laid out besides each other, but mixed together these all combine into a joyful experience and tribute to the creativity of all artists involved!
