Taken from the recent charity album, >No Fun Allowed, Phoxi’s remix of The Spectacle covers a number of bases; trap, glitch, datamosh, there’s a variety of influence into the sound design of this, and it works great!

[NFA] Wootmaster – The Club Pony Party Palace | Dubstep
If you happen to particularly affectionate The Saddle Row Review as a music fan, well, based Wootmaster has made your wildest dreams come true, or not, as maybe you never imagined such a wonderful creation could ever be released. Extending on some of the musical aspects from the episode (including remixing that BGM from the dance club), this unexpected banger also plays with delightful freedom on unusual concepts such as the intense (and at times kind of lewd) use of pony vocal samples as spoken parts. In the end, what could be mistaken as a mere sweep dance remix is actually an elaborate, hard-hitting, and definitely very pony party track that is proudly asserting its uniqueness while delivering with wubs as dirty as some pony samples are. “80% of this song is Rarity being musically gangbanged”, as stated by the artist! And I find that quite fitting to describe it indeed… Also, the track is part of the recently released >No Fun Allowed album, a musical project from our anon friends over at 4chan, that means you can download The Club Pony Party Palace both from the description of Wootmaster’s upload or by downloading the full album! I’d recommend doing both, that’s what I did!
/MLP/ Plays – >No Fun Allowed | Album | Multi-Genre
Brace yourselves everypony, because you’re about to get surprised in the most amazing ways, as we present to you the result of two years of collaborative effort from musicians of the 4chan /mlp/ board, a massive 51-tracks album of stunning quality. Featuring a wide variety of genres (even including some very unusual ones), perhaps even more variety than in the P@D or LDB albums, this heartfelt compilation of sophisticated tunes will surprise and delight as you experience its many wonders, such as the very mellow and enthralling RarityRF (#7), the emotional and surprising you-would-never-guess pony vocals from Flut (#8), the incredible vocal chops from Protocat’s remix of I’ll Fly (#11), the masterful collaboration work in To Anon Too Late (#15), one of the best and most epic remixes of Luna’s Future (#21), Feral FurE’s wonderful remix of Better Than Ever (#26), some more feels from the Out On My Own remix (#29), the original Derpy-centered Surf Rock track Surfin’ Derp (#30), the blissful piano melodies from Tree of Harmony (#32), the heartfelt realtalk combined with quality instrumental in Waifu Blues (#33), the mighty rock spirit from Eclipses (#48), or the massive party track The Club Pony Party Palace (#50) that I will feature as a solo post next. I guess the expression “Do not judge a book by its cover” works here, and you won’t be disappointed if you decide to go give the full album a proper listen (and if you would consider donating, note that all proceeds will go to charity). This music lover, for one, is blown away.
GROskAr – Paradox | Dubstep
If there’s one thing GROskAr is great at doing, it’s making dubstep tracks with sound design unlike any other that I hear in this fandom. This is intense stuff, the second drop is definitely the more unique of the two, and the melodies linking everything work great too!
Kadenza – Find My Way (feat. Charmer) | UK Hardcore
A regular to the Ponies At Dawn albums, and frequenter of the melodic side of electronic music, Kadenza has teamed up with aspiring producer Charmer for this super upbeat UK hardcore track. Not normally my type of thing, but I love this song, great work from both of them!
Crusader! – Party of Two (Homage McGee Remix) | Pop / Chiptune
Have something that I have no idea how to label effectively! We saw Crusader’s Party of Two a few weeks ago, a cute song telling a love story about Pinkie. Now Homage McGee, who recently ended his previous absence from the brony music scene has made this poppy electronic remix of it with plenty of chiptune elements. Something pretty unique if you ask me!
174UDSI – Hooves Up In The Air | House
Acting as an unofficial anthem for Galacon, the world-renowned German brony convention at which he will be performing this year, this new song from 174UDSI is a dancey house track featuring Truss, a singer from Poland who I don’t think I’ve ever seen a song from yet. Long sentence is long, go take a listen.
Quicksilver – Close Again | Pop-Punk
It’s always a delight to find a song by Quicksilver in my subscriptions box, and Close Again was no exception! Not only is great to hear some glorious pop-punk (I’m currently re-living my teenage phase of taste in music), but also to have a song about Sunburst with such excellently written lyrics. Go take a listen to this, you won’t regret it.
A Symphony Of Two – A Strange & Isolated Place, Part 2 (The Forest) | Orchestral
Continuing their Strange and Isolated series, we have a new song from A Symphony Of Two. Although I’m calling this ‘orchestral’, this piece also contains a lot of ambient elements, synths, and sound effects, which to be honest, add so much more to ambiance and the theme of this series.
The Midnight Musician – Stay Calm | Trap
Been a while since we posted new music from the Midnight Musician, glad to see him back in the game again! Here we have a relatively simple but effective trap piece, which actually reminds me for some reason of certain late 00s dubstep songs. I suppose those two genres do share some aspects.
