Mylo the Kidd – days | Rap / Hip-Hop

Bro. BRO. The pony rap scene just got a new member in its ranks. This song portrays points of view from both Rarity and Spike’s points of view, with the song divided in 2 parts right down the middle. The instrumental doesn’t appear to be original, but maybe that can change if some collabs ever happen *hint hint*. But anyway, this song is a phenomenal debut, I really hope to see much more from this guy soon!

ForeverFreest – Weather Patrol | Electropop

Someone’s clearly been watching the Anthology series recently.

Freest is back with a nice little fun song released the most recent Lycan Dese Beats album. It apparently takes inspiration from older Replacer songs, and to a similar extent seems to reminisce a bit back to earlier seasons of MLP – at least that’s the vibe I got from the whole weather patrol theme. Check it out and see for yourself.

BlueBrony – Dance Macabre | Electro-Classical

Not so much an original composition, but instead BlueBrony here has re-imagined a 19th Century composition, and added a spoken word element to fit it to the theme of Nightmare Moon. Blue’s little niche in the fusion of orchestral and electronic is pretty neat, and I’m a particular fan of the weird beat pattern based around triplets later on in the song.

Przewalski’s Ponies – Derpy (Live Polish Version 2016) (feat. SDreamExplorerS) | New Wave / Post-Punk

Amazing performance by Przewalski’s Ponies featuring the bass playing by SDreamExplorerS! The song was played with a lot of energy and stage attitude! Singing the song in Polish, makes this live performance even better! I love when people use other languages instead of English! Every member of the band had a lot of energy! Velvet vocals are amazing live and the rap section of Andy is pure awesomeness! The instrumentation done by SDreamExplorerS, 4/3 and Gliss it’s also pretty well played live! Everyone did an awesome job on this live performance and I’m glad that you find someone to record it! Amazing song, amazing performance and amazing band!

Aelipse – Luna’s Rebirth (Reworked) | Orchestral

Aelipse’s masterpiece Luna’s Rebirth gets a reworked version that further pays tribute to MelodicPony and the Princess of the Night in all their glory with the Orchestral talent and vision the musician is know for. Fitting for a grand movie’s soundtrack, the song takes us through a truly magical journey where the music is creating divine sceneries and powerful emotions.

Filly in the Box – Swamp Pones | Neuro Hop

Exploring a Swamp-y jungle… that’s the kind of scene I can picture while listening to this new piece by Filly in the Box and display of the same exploration spirit but in musical endeavors. Bringing slick and tasty influences to the community, Filly delivers in style once again as charming melodies are accompanying many sound wonders of beats and wubs.

Elias Frost – Time to be Awesome (Сovering Daniel Ingram) | Metal

Elias’ second cover of a movie song pays tribute to the uplifting Time to be Awesome, that (spoiler alert) got Captain Celaeno and the other sky pirates to find back their will to be their true selves again. Those very aerial and “Airship-like” melodies are so beautifully covered here and hearing them in a brand new arrangement along Metal riffs is so blissful, and as always Elias’ vocals are rockin’ it!

Soren Ember – Jackie B. Goode (Johnny B. Goode Parody) (feat. Protocat) | Rock N’ Roll

Ponifications are always so awesome to get, and we can always count on Soren Ember to display his great Classic Rock taste, this time bringing a ponification of the ever-so-classic Johnny B. Goode. Inviting Protocat on the piano once again, Soren delivers a mighty cover with lovely Applejack-themed lyrics, and I like to imagine this being performed in one of the barns of Sweet Apple Acres, transformed into a modest concert hall for the occasion!

Soren Ember and Protocat return to amaze me with this rocking track! Parodying and making tribute to the great legend and innovator Chuck Berry (rest in peace), Soren and Protocat make a really dancing and awesome tribute. The track that talks about Applejack and Apple Acres, it’s really amazing, with a nice vocal performance and a great instrument performance by Soren and a great organ performance done by Protocat! Protocat and Soren knows dat Boogie Woogie! The lyrics re-invention to the pony theme was pretty well made, and then that guitar solos/riffs and the vocals are the thing that really overthrows everything on the song! Good job, both of you! Keep rocking the free world and keep making awesome tributes to great persons!

Casal BRony – Sun Afternoon (Covering Ser Brony) | Folk Pop

Here comes an utterly lovely and, in my opinion, very important upload. This ponification of Trem Bala shines so bright with the magic of Friendship and conveys many messages that we got from the show and that makes us bronies. The generosity of offering presents to friends… the happy times spent together… and many values from the Elements of Harmony, are displayed through the lyrics of this parody (translated in English on-screen) and the visuals of the video. This group is definitely brimming with the magic of Equestria, and it makes me so happy to see this song and video, further spreading the values from the show and contributing to change the world. Keep at it everypony! Love you all!

[P@D] DJT & ThatMusicBrony – Fading Moments | Glitch Hop

Anthology! Here we go again with other post about a new horse tune from an anthological album! This time we have DJT and ThatMusicBrony (again, I guess) and I must say, this track is pretty awesome, it starts with an urban feeling of the hip hop part of the glitch hop, with very soft piano and really awesome drums sets! Then TMB’s vocals are awesome, you will recognize instantly a TMB song by his vocals. Then the chorus begins and then we have the amazing drop and here shows the glitch part of the glitch hop! Full of bass and synth energy and awesome vocal sampling! I really love the message from the lyrics (The fires in our hearts, the flames will never die, Let’s hope this moment never ends) mostly that one, it’s one of my favorite parts! Another amazing thing is that this song it’s featured on the Glitch Hop Community! Good job both of you!

By the end, you should really know what this paragraph is for, don’t ya? It’s just for advert about the anthological album, yes, download it in the bandcamp, I’m waiting. You should have already downloaded by this time. If you are rich, you know, hum… buy it! Or buy the CD, it don’t have all tracks and blah blah, but it’s still funny!
