You like fast? You’ll probably like this too. This track is a quick-paced synthwave piece from Morphmoon, formerly known as Lunar, and being as such, it takes influence from older forms of electronic music, such as an 80s sounding bass, though the overall feeling of the song reminds me of module music from the mid to late 90s. I guess you could say that synthwave’s making waves in the fandom right now!

MC-Arch – Relation (prod. Nevermourn) (feat. DaWillstanator) | Hip-Hop / Audio Drama
The message in this song is so vital in our fandom and our world right now. This emotional song about Discord could have not been released at a better time. This track is one of best on MC-Arch’s masterpiece of an album. This track is a combo of a Hip-Hop and only a small part of the well done audio drama this album offers. Featuring the musical talents of my fellow H.M.H colleague Nevermourn. Who does such a great job of making a melody, that just conveys the energy and power of the rhymes MC-Arch’s releases in this track. More than ever the lyrics cut deep with emotion and wisdom. The lyrics are for the one and only master of chaos Discord. Voiced by a fellow known for his talent for voicing him DaWillstantor! The magic of this track is the whole conversation between Discord and Realfeeler. Really well done and produced. I really want people to listen to this track. The Characters we relate to in the show is why we cherish the lessons learned we learn MLP. The message of speaking up for the greater good for all is so dire to learn. I really love the fact that Arch took his love for Discord and made such a powerful track about him and the message. Our fandom and our world need this so much right now. These characters would speak up for us, and we need to do the same for others! Let yourself feel the power of this track. You will not be sorry for it. There is no one better at taking their love of MLP, and using it for the greater good then MC-Arch. So proud I call the 3 gentlemen on this track, friends of mine. Check this song out and the Album! This Qilin insists.
[ASOS] Lavender Harmony – First Impressions | Liquid Drum & Bass
Lavender Harmony presents a new celestial DnB track, deservingly compiled on the A State of Sugar: Waffle compilation album. The frequencies contained in this rare Drumscape Library release include tense synth swells, watery piano hits, and shakingly harmonic sub-basses. With a foundation of swift but soft drums, this splattering, smashing, fluid DnB piece serves as a fantastic precursor to Lavender Harmony’s album Daydreams, queued for later this year.
Silva Hound & StrachAttack – Punk Rocks (feat. Namii) [Chang31ng Edit] | Electro House / Progressive House
This banger from Ponies at Dawn: Skyward is back, except with a newer coat of paint. A good chunk of the song is essentially the same as the original track, although this version is cut in half and includes a couple of new drops with the familiar Chang31ing flair. If you’re familiar with the original track, this should be a new experience.
Frozen Night – Equilibrium | Orchestral
Frozen Night is easily one of the fandom’s leading heroes when it comes to orchestral music, and this song is a prime example as to why that is. This beautiful piece has two halves; the first one is a slow and beautiful motif, but halfway through, it quickly builds up into an epic section with fast percussion and driving string instruments. While the two sections are almost night and day with their pace, they fit so well together that the sudden transition doesn’t feel jarring. This will be a part of Frozen’s upcoming album scheduled for release in November, so look out for that!
[ASOS] Tripon – Stars and Swirls | Drum & Bass
From the new A State of Sugar compilation album comes a brand new DnB original. Familiarize yourself with a passively pleasuring exposition introducing you to the hefty neuro basses of this roller. Serene atmospheres are not lacking in this track either, with the clouds of ethereal pads abundant in the intro and outro. Decorated with vast reverbs and nippy drums, this piece won’t be out of place for any bass-manic electronic fans!
Rusty Thorsell – Mirror Mirror | Indie Pop
So with this Indie pop tune, we get into the mind of narcissist pony. It’s different to hear this style of music. With hearing a pony unhealthy talk to themselves about their own self-ego. Having a conversion with oneself, and trying to convince oneself of what you’re saying. Then getting frustrated! It kinda funny honesty listening to this. The vocals get that across just fine. The melody itself is good, as it uses exotic style tones and sound. It goes with this pony talking to himself. It’s fun and simple little tune by Rusty, give it a try. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Zephysonas – Steam Innovation | Orchestral
What is going on inside of Zephysonas’ head? We’ve got ourselves an orchestral piece with elements of steampunk, and honestly, it works! At the start of the song, the sounds of train whistles, bell chimes, clockwork sounds and other machinery can be heard slowly gaining in volume until the orchestral elements slowly fade in as well, along with a harpsichord. It creates a perfect blend, definitely creating the feeling of walking through a warehouse full of machinery. Zephy’s hit it out of the park once again!
Wootmaster – Tree House | House
While Wootmaster’s very active in the MLP music scene, it’s not often he puts out a solo song; in fact, it’s been nearly a year since his last release, but this one was definitely worth the wait. He’s delivered a long house tune with plenty of MLP samples, particularly of Pinkie (who can be heard making percussion sounds all throughout, no less!) and the student six, with numerous references to Uprooted and What Lies Beneath. Alongside the familiar house music ensemble, a saxophone is added into the mix, creating a jazzy feel. This unique track will definitely hype up the club, and become a welcome addition to the Wootmaster discography!
Koron Korak – Fluffin’ Gaming | Chiptune
Koron Korak returns with a chiptune melody that sounds absolutely perfect for a video game. The overall feeling is very cheery and bouncy, complete with xylophone sounds and catchy synths. Coupled with this is a visual of the original NES Super Mario Bros, with Mario and Luigi escorting Fluttershy to the end of each level, with cameo appearances from Discord and Rarity. Definitely a nostalgic piece, this one!
