Luna Ticks – Ring the Bell | Punk Rock

Fan songs in response to certain episodes are always so lovely to see, and the awesome duo of Quicksilver and Francis Vace is back again as Luna Ticks for the most wonderful take on S09E16 A Trivial Pursuit! With meaningful vocals sung in such a lovely and heartfelt way, powerful guitar riffs reaching to the heavens, and just perfect lyrics accompanied by fitting scenes from the episode in the PMV-like visuals, Ring the Bell is an essential piece from Luna Ticks that is such a delightful gift and token of pony passion!

Vylet Pony – As Strong as Horses | Indie Pop

Vylet’s new album Queen of Misfits will be released December 25th, and this pre-release certainly shows the color of the Trixie-themed album! I love Trixie and to have an album dedicated to her is such a treat. Looks like the tracks will have a personal meaning to them from the musician this time around too, judging from the thought-provoking description! Time to bliss out to cute vocals and synths alike…

[PVCF] loophoof – Would Stay (John Kenza Remix) | Melodic House

How John Kenza and loophoof remixed each other for the occasion of Ponyville Ciderfest’s 2019 Official Convention Album and their B2B set at the con, is just SO lovely! The Magic of Friendship is doing wonders in the music too, with such bright vibes and fresh take on the Twilight vocal chops from the original. Dash’s contributions still make the track 20% cooler, too!

[PVCF] John Kenza – Love (feat. 4EverfreeBrony) (Loophoof Remix) | Future Bass

Undoubtedly one of the fastest-rising stars in recent pony music memory, loophoof returns from his incredible B2B set at Ponyville Ciderfest with John Kenza with a wonderful remix Kenza’s juggernaut, Love. Also featured on Ciderfest’s now-annual charity compilation, this remix retains the soul of the original but brings in dramatic, cathartic leads, well-placed trap percussion, and even whole sections of slightly darker, grittier experimentation. This one is a lot to digest for an EDM song, so get ready for a ride!

Francis Vace – To The Nines (Covering Koa) | Ska

We should now be used to Francis Vace making delightful ska covers of electronic music, but he still manages to catch us off guard.
If you thought you had finally freed yourself from the treacherously catchy To The Nines by Koa from Ponies at Dawn: Eternal, well Francis Vace is here to make sure it stays in your skull for a little more. The energetic song incorporates all you could expect, including sick guitar riffs, electric drums, spicy brass and of course Francis’ punk vocals which you might find yourself singing all day!

[P@D] Faulty – Double Time Dash | Electro House

This song is actually scientifically impossible not to dance to. It never stops being great, with three minutes of electronic music that’s fun to listen to with it’s memorizing beat, and it’s perfectly timed drops that combine and make it fast, catchy, and make it fit well with the game it’s paired with.
This song is available as part of P@D Eternal.

[PP] Seventh Element – Darkness Falls | Breakcore

This track is about King Sombra’s madness but it’s hard to know who’s the more insane of Seventh Element or Sombra. Fast drums and a variety of strings, even incuding a harpsicord, make the music dense and intense, even though calmer, more laid back parts are mixed in to let you realize what just happend, only to go hard again. Nevertheless, creative sound design is the constant, and the general feel of the track is reminiscent of Radiarc‘s style at times, only more fast paced.
This track is available as part of this Pinkamena Party album.

Night Blaze – New Day | Orchestral / Soundtrack

A piece as gorgeous as a sundawn or a moondawn, New Day is Night Blaze’s tribute to the two sisters, as well as a musical take on their backstory. An epic, intense, deep and uplifting composition is brought forth along the progression of the track, and it’s just so wonderful to listen to while thinking about the topic some more!

Ardeleiz – Solelh-còlc | Acoustic

A new treat from Ardeleiz has come out, and it is a delicate Tia inspiered acoustic guitar solo. The title in Occitan translates to “sunset”, and indeed it makes you feel as if you were sitting by the sea, basking in the last amber to scarlet rays of Celestia’s light, waiting for her to gently lower the sun, as gently as the mellow melodies coming from the music itself. The composition is centered around a catchy main theme with variations all the way through. Go check it out if you want to soothe your soul, and admire the blissful art from WolfieDrawie.

Here it is! Brilliant Venture’s long awaited album is now upon us and boy was it worth the wait. Including many remixes of classics of both community and show songs, as well as original tracks, this album is truly a love letter to the fandom.
Brilliant’s signature wubs are very much present as one could expect and the musician also ventures in drum and bass giving a refreshing new spin to the Ponies at Dawn-featured track I Love This Fandom.
