Another piece of her Battle of the Bands concept, Dizzy Inmotion brings us this clever take off of Under Our Spell from Rainbow Rocks. Spellshatter is a self-hyping track with quick punches and great flow, talking up the dazzling personalities. The synth chords and word play pay great homage to the Equestria Girls hit while bringing a lot of creativity and Diz’s own personality to the forefront.

A track part of the OST of the in-development fan game PoniGame, Eager To Explore gives that “Town of Beginning” vibe with that longing for adventuring in a newfound world, with hopes in your eyes, excitement about meeting your future party members, and an unbreakable will to see what’s wrong til it’s right! Definitely a beautiful composition and comfy atmosphere!

A fine example of what I call the “P@D effect”, this crazy banger from iblank2apples blows away with such a rich sounscape, and a surprising progression that showcases such creativity and refined sound design in pure iblank2apples style. The last part especially gets me crazy everytime! Earlier today I was listening to this song again while traveling in the tramway, and I was smiling like an idiot in public just because of how insane that part is!! Definitely in my top favorites from Ponies at Dawn Eternal!

Drift away with Too Taken’s remix of Start Again, perfect for any serene background. It incorporates the vocals of the original overtop the most cavernous drums and electric piano harmonies until a surprisingly nonchalant drop of bells and FM sounding synths. Glittered with jazzy chords, saxophones, and an electric piano solo near the end, it serves as a grace to the golden oldie that is the original. Wafting through time comes with ease with this colorful track on repeat.

Track 39 from Ponies at Dawn Eternal, we have BlackIceMusic doing what they do best: Melbourne Bounce. True to its name, The Fuff is a bouncy track based on easily one of the most memorable characters from MLP Rainbow Roadtrip – Kerfuffle – and is sprinkled with samples of her voice among others from the special in addition to the infectiously groovy track. Let’s hope this kickstarts a wave of Kerfuffle songs!

A gorgeous swan song of sorts for the brony community, Crystal Slave’s final present is sampling the famous Flawless and showcases much creativity in this instrumental that seems to blend several Electronic genres! You can read this letter from the musician to know more about his feelings, and get an explanation about some things that happened in the past with his music. Let’s wish him the best for the future!

An unexpected collab definitely giving off Empress of Friendship vibes, The New Queen is the union of the creative musical visions of Nyancat380 and The Empty Tomb, bringing all the Cozy Glow madness along the sick drops! You can just feel her evil-ness with those wicked wubs reflecting her attacks so well. An amazing collab! One More!
Evershade – Community | Pop Rock
Evershade wrote such a tender and cute song in honor of the finale, and it’s so emotional to listen to! Such sweet and emotional lyrics, lovely vocals, and uplifting acoustic guitar in the instrumental are all reminding of what makes this community so special, as we cuddle up in spirit with the musician and the other ponies listening in this cozy and heart-warming atmosphere!
Koron Korak – Follow the Little Light | Orchestral
Even without having watched the finale, Koron saw fit to respond to the surrounding emotions all around in the community, with a deep and emotional piece featuring violin, music box and choirs! Such dedication is so wonderful to see! Let’s wish Koron all the best when he’ll get to that “end of the road” himself! I’m sure there’s gonna be a beautiful rainbow waiting for him there!
