[P@D] Radiarc – The Void Undying | Breakcore/Hybrid Orchestral

If you haven’t downloaded the new Ponies at Dawn: Eternity compilation album, then you are missing fantastic, powerful tracks like this one! Channeling his own pain and struggles, Radiarc turns that emotion into a dark, overbearing sound signifying “the formless evil that lies within every villain, and its insanity and power from relentless hatred of all living thing”. The harsh instrumentation combined with an intense, chaotic beat and Radiarc’s always skillful symphonic touches makes for an emotional ride!

Foozogz brings the feels in this incredible retrospective tribute to the show! A clear highlight on a compilation album filled with spectacular tracks, the music legend really raises the bar early on Ponies at Dawn: Eternal! The vocal chops are sheer perfection with their ambient mixing and powerful, nostalgic hits. The familiar pony clips layer on top of each other while the instrumental track builds, which inspires a craze of emotions in a way that makes Make It Special exactly what it says – special. It should be no surprise that Foozogz is still delivering top-tier music, and this track is no exception!

Dizzy Inmotion – The Sunset Shimmer Show | Hip-Hop

Dizzy is a rising star and it is easy to see why with such incredible flow and lyrics! The Sunset Shimmer Show is written from the perspective of the lead Equestria Girl herself tearing down a Battle of the Bands, Diz very cleverly plays up Sunset while knocking on the competition. The instrumental is simple, yet complimentary of the rapping, and the rapping is captivating!

Vylet Pony – Colourless | Solo Piano

There’s no stopping Vylet, is there? Track 14 from her album Love Letters: Colourless as well as the title track, it’s an emotional instrumental piece. Consisting of just a piano and the sounds of rain, it perfectly accents the diary entry included with the album, describing Rainbow Dash’s feelings for Rarity as she listens to a piece of music entitled Mistress, said to be written by the latter (though in reality was written by Vylet, and appeared on the Love Letters album). Sometimes you don’t need words to get your message across.

[P@D] Suskii – Summon the Shadows | Metalcore

Track 8 on the freshly-released Ponies at Dawn: Eternal, and it’s about the Pony of Shadows. This one in particular was made by… Wait, Suskii? If you know the name by now, you’d probably come to expect some hard-hitting dubstep. Instead, he’s brought us some brutal metalcore, a crazy yet welcome change of pace. Suskii’s vocals switch between harsh screams and strong, harmonious clean singing seamlessly. Of course, no metalcore is complete without a breakdown, and this one’s heavy as can be, filled to the brim with low-tuned guitars, descending dissonant synths and raw guttural screams. I’m really liking the new Suskii sound!

[P@D] Francis Vace – Silent (feat. PegasYs) | Ska Punk

The last of the Eternal pre-releases, and it’s a good one! Francis Vace teams up with his usual ska punk fare, with PegasYs joining him on vocals this time. While all the familiar elements of ska punk are recognisable in his sound, the track is laced with 8-bit sounding synths to complete the piece. With great references to Autumn Blaze and her all too familiar song that needs no introduction, this is a piece you can’t pass up. Eternal releases on October 6th!

Kallo Skull – Beauty Trapped in Chrysalis | Orchestral

Quite a powerful start for a channel debut, Kallo Skull’s Chrysalis-themed Orchestral beauty is bringing all the emotion of violins, in a grand progression featuring even choirs near the end. A lot of the character depth of our beloved antagonist is subtly expressed here, and that was definitely a most wonderful initiative! Here’s to a bright future of musical endeavors for Kallo!
