Bringing back a gem from 2015, Chang31ing gives Party’s Over a harder edge with a heavy and wide bassline and a fun use of sample splices and effects. Minimal percussion gives the track some notable ‘weight’ in its grandest sections while also giving room to breathe in the breakdowns. A great nod to the original and fun listening experience all around!

Forest Rain – The Tempest | Rock Ballad
Forest Rain releases yet another track from their new album Discovery, and this one focuses on Tempest Shadow’s broken trust and anger she harboured leading up to the events of the MLP Movie. Powerful piano chords and instrumentation accompany an emotional story in this ballad and you can really tell Forest Rain put a lot of love and effort into it and I highly recommend listening to this and the rest of the album!
[P@D] Foozogz & PrinceWhateverer – Heavenbound | Alternative Rock
The opener of the truly celestial compilation album Ponies at Dawn Skyward is making us soar to high grounds from the start! A stellar collab between two renowned pony musicians, it would make even Rainbow Dash envious with such display of awesome-ness from both Foozogz’s signature bright vibes and PrinceWhateverer‘s vocals to fall in love for, and it has quite a deep concept too!
[P@D] Jyc Row & PegasYs – I’ll Fly High (feat. BlackGryph0n) | Epic Orchestral
Ponies at Dawn albums are home to some of the biggest collaborations around, that’s a well-known fact, and here we are able to witness Jyc’s endeavor with none other than the talented and bringer of brony family spirit BlackGryph0n, for top-notch vocals along an epic orchestral instrumental! And icing on the cake, the track also features PegasYs who is known for his lovely lyrics, among other things! An aerial piece that definitely belongs on Skyward!

BlueBrony‘s pony passion and imagination are always such a delight to witness in his pieces, and his contribution to Ponies at Dawn Skyward is quite the display of both story-telling and musical prowess! Along with much emotion from the rich composition, the unique vocals are gracing the album and telling BlueBrony’s tale of ponies building an airship, and it’s so very appreciated! We love you BlueBrony!

With cute and emotional melodies as well as a sound design that just turns you crazy, VooDoo’s solo contribution to Ponies at Dawn Skyward is both lovely and showcasing top-notch quality, and the cute art by Kit in this video by Suskii only makes you want to hug a pony as well while listening to the song!

Deep, gorgeous, and with a dark concept, this new masterpiece by Zizkil shows the extent of the power of darkness, and of mad EDM skill too, with a stunning experience of sound that will make you wander in the mind of the Pony of Shadows. With heavenly melodies and hard-hitting drops, this unique gem (one more to Zizkil’s streak) is part of Ponies at Dawn Skyward, available on Bandcamp now!

Einarx’s song Blackout is a wubbly, heavy, delectable composition. With Twilight’s vocals from BBBFF, it is an absolute delight to listen to. And the melodic tones throughout go wonderfully with Einarx’s classic sounds.
Spikey Wikey – H.O.R.S.E. (The Word Is) | Tech House
What happens when you call multiple ponies over the phone line and give them the H.O.R.S.E. word? Spoiler alert, the answer is you get a tasty Tech House new release, with Spikey Wikey/Tacos getting his debut on Cider Party as a feature! A big release in more ways than one, it announces the coming of a new album from the musician full of pony treats crafted through 2019, and it certainly hypes it up a lot with that unique concept and creative pony sentences crafting!
Vinyl Scratch – Wubtastic | Complextro
The one and only Vinyl Scratch is back once again, and with a new pony surprise for us! Part of a new EP titled The Untitled Gig (Soundcloud stream here), Wubtastic is a delight for us longtime fans who sure remember about the classic Vinylicious, with nostalgic callbacks and a renewed sick musical experience in the company of Vinyl as well! Also fun fact, I actually dreamed about Scraton/Vinyl Scratch last night! In the dream, he turned out to live in my hometown and I got to introduce him to my parents like “Hey this is a super amazing and famous musician in the community!”. Maybe I had that dream because I started writing up this post last night before going to bed, and was listening to the whole EP too… Or just because I’m so happy about this new release! Vinyl Scratch forever!
