Eurobeat with heavy metal mixed into it. SeriousDamir has recently been popping up in the Brony music scene, making some noise and making a few compilation albums. There is a pretty good reason why.
When you listen to this, you may just be thrown off by the righteous heavy metal guitar because you’re expecting Eurobeat! Fear not because the metal elements side right in the drop that kicks off the high-energy Eurobeat. This song is entertaining with this tale of Queen Chrysalis and her horde on the assault and will make you bounce as you this. The lyrics are hyper and tell the ponies’ story trying to endure the attack; all why doubting that the changelings would not do this is if not for Queen Chrysalis. The lyrics kind of hint at the reformed changelings, the season 6 finale to further that point. The music itself is some serious fun with how upbeat and intense the Eurobeat elements are. The metal guitar riffs always have a part in supporting the strength of this song’s composition, adding some added bang to the track. I can only hope that SeriousDamir keeps getting better, and this song is a good sign. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
P.S: He is also a pretty good artist, as he did the Queen Chrissy thumbnail. be sure to check out his DA linked in the video’s info section!
My friends, I’ve been looking forward to coving this track even since Sakairi and Amiss gave me a preview of it why working on it for ASOS: Biscuit months before the release. It is one of the most explosive, and better yet, one of the MUST listens on the album.
The track centers around Daybreaker. Celestia slowly being driven insane, inching closer to Daybreaker, calling out to her to be unleashed by the lyrics. Starlight Glimmer’s dream in “a royal problem.” only planted the seeds into Celestia’s mind. Until the day comes when she snaps, letting Daybreaker take hold of her, The lyrics tell the story of Celestia wanting to feel more than she is and not feel weak anymore; her words ring out as she targets her sister luna and her past, then turns to twilight with rage. She tells them both that Celestia’s limits will no longer bind her. The song gets intense with the minds of Daybreaker and Celestia clashing for control before Daybreaker sends Equestria into an age of hellfire and death, with Princess Luna and Twilight being her first victims.
You have to listen for yourself, but the song is only as good as say it is if not for the talent behind it. SlightlyAmiss on this album alone has stepped up his game to a whole new level. The entire package of how hardcore the metal is in this track fits the inner spirit of the story. The guitars and drums channel the brutal power of Daybreaker with the tempo on an overdrive. There are very harmonious Orchestra elements composed by Amiss, which I didn’t know he had in him! The lyrics so well fit this story. You can step right into Celestia’s head and understand and get into this song. Well-written lyrics bring life to songs such as these, But the vocals bring that story to life. I got to tell you that if you don’t know who Sakairi is? You know now. Her singing gives the emotional energy and fire of Daybreaker telling her story. You feel the anger, rage, and lust for power through the powerful harmonies of Sakairi’s impressive singing voice. Oh and just make that sweeter? Amiss lends his rage scream vocals to harmonize with her vocals so you know Daybreakers firey rage behind Sakairi’s vocals
Didn’t I mention that she made it onto her first significant compilation album on her first try! He can feel Celestia trying to fight back and take control back and Daybreaker laughing at her just by the passion and tone of Sakairi’s voice. She has put this fandom on notice by her break-out performance, and to sweeten this more, Amiss and his pal Acouste Wholenote throw in some epic, and emotional guitar solo’s to amp the drama of this fantastic track! This track is what Symphonic Metal sounds like when done right! This track alone is worth supporting the album. Ya’ll need to keep your eyes on this group, I can promise you. It’s only the start! As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself, but enjoy one of the best Daybreaker songs ever made in my book.
Geez, I listen to the original done by over-the-top goofballs of the brony musician community in Chang31ing and Mcmiag making this kind of over-the-top dank nonsense as I inspect them too. I wasn’t inspecting TCB, however, to not only to up the nonsense meter to past ten and make things kinkier. TCB makes a remix that will have you laughing, but you will be vibing to it. The beats are super banging with that trademark Machine gun bass drops the litter this track behind the various silly vocal chops through this track. Just listen to this track and understand that SOMEHOW TCB managed to make something danker and entertaining, don’t mind the artwork, or just ask more questions you don’t want to know, LOL. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself. Maybe really more so this time…
I find it interesting that on this album, I hear many new music ideas from so many musicians, and it seems like that is the trend on ASOS: Biscuit, and one such track is this one from PSFMer! The video that goes with this track (Also done by PSFMer) showcases the theme of this song, a train traveling to god knows where. The music itself makes you feel like you’re on this train, and you’re never coming back. As PSFMer states, The kicks and snares of this track are murderous! This heart-pounding pace of those drum beats is only fueled by these freaky and insidious elements and the ghosty aura of a high-speed train heading black of night! A pretty nifty track, if I say so myself. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Ohh man, If you have not listened to Tw3Lv3’s remix album of musicians remixing or covering one of the best songs in the fandom of 2020, you need to click here!
Blackened like he always does, gives a cover or remix of a song, his unique touch. Tw3Lv3’s melodies are now fully covered with some hardcore guitar seasoning with just a tad bit of gentleness with the soft and sweet guitar chords with some buildup in the choirs the song. The work Blackened does with his guitar work is perfect with keeping the pureness of the mood right down to the fun and hoppy riffs he does to back MC-Arch‘s rhymes. It’s pretty interesting seeing his range of skill with the cords and notes he composes here! Oh, but his voice, that Nu Metal vibe the haunts every one of his tracks, pairing that with Koa‘s rich and inspiring vocals, will put a smile on your face, and it just fits! Blackened Blue, I’ve noticed, has been improving his creative music-making, making each song his sound and style, and you got to give him some credit for how well this cover came out! As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
We are feeling the new ideas and adventure with the musicians of ASOS: Biscuit! Today I cover a new alias of Brillant Venture! You may have noticed in the past few months he has been hinting at something big coming! BV told me THIS was the bomb he has wanting to drop! Fueled by his talented roots in making trance, NeighGative_ uses Vinyl Scratch as the catalyst to launch into this new adventure. On track 35, we are treated to not only a fun video to go with the track, but the song is self is a thrilling and fun mix of vocal chops, quirky melodies that rumble with delight and drops that go with the excitement that triggers with the video shots of Vinyl Scratch! My word, the bassline that trembles with this rumbling bass, along with those classic techno elements are just fun! I for one can express my love for Trance. The story behind this is very passionate from BV, big time!
Oh, furthermore, BV is just getting started with this new alias of his! (more info of that in the video’s description, if this is what we’re getting from NeighGative then this is going to interesting) As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Let me be the guy to open our coverage on an album that is totally taking bronies’ breath away with ASOS: Biscuit! There is such an impressive display of talent in the 8th album of the organization’s history! What highlights this album is a fresh talent. One such brony musician is Skyshard, who has made such a hot push for themselves for three consecutive compilation albums (VibePoniez: Overcast, Equinity 04: Immersion, and now A State of Sugar: Biscuit). It was an astonishing feat for someone who just came into the music scene not too long ago, plus all on their first try!
If you listen to this track, you will understand why and it will take your breath away! The composition done by Skyshard, you’re swept to the moment to where it becomes do or die. At track 54, Sky told me that this track is about their OC at their breaking point and on the verge of unleashing pure hell on a villain or rival. The melody puts you in the hooves of their OC or, let’s say, Twilight or Cadence in a very decisive moment of an extensive choice. Words can not fix the problem; as this score shapes the mood, you can picture a big fight going down. In terms of Sky’s OC or any of alicorn princesses, it’s unleashing your true power when others or your kingdom needs you the most. The drama of this moment fits the elements used in this score, and you get into it and picture this scene in your head. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Greetings everyone, I know this is very awkward coming from me. As you know from the news article posted on HMH this morning, significant changes were just put in place. I was not too pleased about the new format, and I let my opinions be known.
However, I will be using my real name from now on, writing these articles as Patrick Myers. I will always be DrakeEmberHeart in your hearts and minds. I was even able to keep that as my posting name, at least. I am going to terribly miss covering the unbelievable talent we used to cover. However, life changes, and you got to move forward. As a professional, I must do my job by still giving you write-ups on the best music worldwide. I will still give it the same effort I always give – just for more mature music this time. I’m Patrick Myers, and on to the music!
Ahhh, more season one-inspired music! It really takes you back to the days of just how charming FiM really was becoming! This delightful piano solo takes you back to the episode “Over A Barrel.” Songbird Choir grabs you in the flavor of classic old west charm as you could very well hear this coming from the salt saloon as you take your tour of APPLEOOOOOSA! Please support and check out Songbird Choir’s other charming works. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
The power you find even in the darkness. Why, the emotion behind this track is very personal to Koron Korak. (In all seriousness, give the guy some love and encouragement or a hug!) This cover of AaRD’s score is just breathtakingly pretty. The melodies are very lush and plentiful. Taking the original and beefing it up with his skill with the Violin and Cello. They are some major Russian/German influences within this cover that gives the track a rich favor and pulls you into the emotion; as Dionte George told me, “It kinda also sounds like opera seria (serious opera) in a way. Please support Koron, my friends, and send him some kind words of support. As always, this qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
