[P@D] RKDM – Superstratus | Electro
Here it is, the first pre-release track from Ponies At Dawn’s newest Compilation album, “Oceansong“. And what a banger it is! RKDM brings us this awesome Electro song called “Superstratus”, and it is indeed super! With a sort of chiptune sound to it and a lot of awesome pony vocal chops, this song blew my expectations away, and I’m sure that it will exceed yours, too! One special thing I want to point out is that, for the first drop, we start with the normal build up and stuff, but when we all wait to jump RKDM completely breaks our expectation and starts this drop completely muffled. It’s one of many interesting narrative decisions throughout a song that is simultaneously summery and intense!

Daniel Ingram – Music in the Treetops (SpinScissor Remix) | House
Today we get a brand new remix from SpinScissor, this time of a lovely show song that hasn’t quite gotten the attention it deserves. This track starts out with just the melody accompanied by some awesome Flutterchops, and it slowly builds up until we get the awesome vocals that build everything up even more before we get some more instrumental. In what might be the quickest final build up I’ve ever heard we get to a drop made of the sweetest of melodies and the most melodic yellow horse noises. As the drop ends the vocals set back in, and we’re treated to another combination of first lyrics and then lovely instrumental. This time the drop just sets in as part of the instrumental with next to no build up, something I’ve never heard before but definitely enjoyed. As sort of a final act of this second drop SpinScissor combines the drop with the awesome lyrics and ends the song on a lovely last bit of instrumental.

MirroredReality – Harvest | House
Today we’ve got ourselves another awesome track from MirroredReality, by now we’re used to this guy releasing banger after banger, but with this one he really blew it out of the water. The fun House beats, the build ups, the drops–everything is perfect. If anyone doubts that House is worthwhile or thinks house is all bad, I advise that they listen to this here track. I can guarantee their opinion will change!

[ASOS] Heartsong – Sweet Soirée | Orchestral
Today we’ve got this awesome orchestral composition made by Heartsong and dedicated to Octavia straight from A State of Sugar’s “Biscuit” album. This song is a beauty of an orchestral piece. It’s no epic or tragic work; rather, it’s this enjoyable, entrancing melody made up of all sorts of instruments. Even if you normally don’t listen to orchestral music I can suggest that you at least listen to this one–it is sure to change your perception of the genre completely. Clocking in at around five and a half minutes, this piece promises the full orchestral experience. The changes in between, the breaks, and the ever present joyous and regal aura make this a true masterpiece!
Heartsong also originally planned for this to have lyrics around the second verse, but those were scrapped in the end. However, they’re in the description on YouTube in case you want to read through them.

GLIMM – Stony Pony | Synthwave
I’m going to be honest here. Rarely has a song left me this speechless. Inspired by artwork by NekoSnicker, GLIMM set out to make a song about a stoned pony. The entire song, from the awesome Synthwave beat to the (actually pretty hilarious) lyrics, is strangely fantastic. Well, what can I say other than this song is just great in its own special way!

[ASOS] SlightlyAmiss & Shad3z – In The Tar (feat. CyrilTheWolf) | Metal
Today we’ve got some more amazing metal straight from A State of Sugar’s “Biscuit” album. This one comes at you courtesy of SlightlyAmiss, StealingShad3z and CyrilTheWolf. “In The Tar” is a track all about the Pony of Shadows with “as much edge as possible”. The awesome lyrics are delivered by fantastic melodic vocals which are joined by the occasional screaming, and the instrumental switches between more acoustic arrangements and full metal beauty! This one’s a must listen for all you metalheads, but even non-metalheads will enjoy this one a lot!

[ASOS] eksoka – Alternate Wing | Progressive Trance
Today we have another awesome track straight from A State of Sugar’s newest album “Biscuit“. eksoka brings us this masterpiece that, clocking in at around six and a half minutes, is one of the longer songs on the album, but longer songs are exactly what eksoka does so well. Alternate Wing is no exception to this; it’s a track that you can put on in the background while working or chilling, and it will fit perfectly into your day with its simple bass and changes that keep up a nice progression throughout the song and the fun trance melody that keeps the song fresh throughout whether it’s your first listen-through or your latest of many!

[ASOS] Zythiria – Fallen From Grace | Alternate Electronic
Today I bring you this awesome piece by Zythria straight from A State of Sugar’s newest album, “Biscuit“. Zythria bring us this amazing song that combines a ton of fun elements while keeping a very orchestral sound to it, a combination that’s difficult to pull off, but Zythria blew it out of the water! You’ve got your awesome intro, a subtle progression and changes, and an outro that catches you a bit of guard while simultaneously being exactly what you expected. This song is among the best of the entire album and perfect to just put on in the background while you work. Definitely check it out for yourself.
