NeverLastStanding – Your Friend | Happy Hardcore / House

We can always count on NeverLastStanding to spread further the wonderful messages of the show and the amazing values of this community, and that’s why I recommend to always check his descriptions! But it’s not just through words. In the heartfelt music that NeverLastStanding is composing, the messages are stronger than words, and the emotions are conveyed through music. This original track is no exception, with Happy Hardcore melodies that seem to shout positive meanings wide and loud, pony vocal chops evoking our feelings for the ponies, and a strong but sweet beat that also just seems to call for emotions. As we get reminded of many “important things”, and as powerful emotions arise from the beauty of both the music and the meanings behind it, we share in joy, united by ponies, what makes us unique as a community. I love you all! And you heard the pony! We need your help!

Liquid Harmony – That Special Mare | Electronic

In more heartfelt songs news, this gift to Derpy for Derpy Day (March 1st – yes, I know, we’re late to cover this!) is as lovely in its nature as it is sounding lovely. With mellow and very MLP-ish synths and melodies, soft drums, and even acoustic guitar, this tribute to our beloved mailmare is sweet as honey and is calling back to community feelings toward Derpy, which I’m sure will never fade.

Lunar Drift – Lunar Drift | Electronic

Lunar Drift made a very lovely tune for his Bronyversary, and it is dedicated to the whole community!! I so love to see heartfelt tributes like these. With a musical style that would definitely fit well in a video game, the instrumental track delights with a masterful progression full of inspired melodies, breathing life, and conveying emotions so well. Thank you Lunar Drift for this wonderful piece and gift!

Crusader! – The Mare At The Discotheque | Pop

Crusader delivers a much welcomed Pop song about Vinyl Scratch, and it is quite catchy! Featuring Crusader’s awesome vocals and paying tribute to the famous unicorn DJ and musician, it feels like a choon to play at parties in Equestria!

GhostXb – Lazy Sunday | Orchestral

A more laid-back piece from GhostXb, but that is still as emotion-inducing and masterfully composed as we could expect from the talented musician. Short in length but expressing much, the track uses many differents strings in a relaxed progression, some that we already heard in previous tracks, and they doesn’t fail to reflect the scene of the cover art by Jowybean in deep, gorgeous OST-like ways.

Frozen Night – The Blind Forest | Orchestral

Taking an unusual (wooden) path in the community’s Orchestral music, Frozen Night delights us with a new release part of an upcoming EP, and it embodies the regal and awe-inspiring aspect of a fantasy forest just perfectly. Sounding like it’s straight from some epic movie, the track brings forth wooden winds and majestic strings, for a mighty instrumental imbued with The Magic of Nature

Jastrian – Celestial Endeavours | Synthpop

Words truly cannot express what this track (and many of Jastrian’s works) made me feel, but I’ll still try and give the song justice even though I know it’s impossible. I think there’s something special about the way Jastrian compose his tracks, that makes them especially emotional. For example, that deep and powerful bass synth in the background of the lead melodies… it just works so perfectly, like that synth was alive, like it is the embodiment of powerful emotions in itself. There’s also a certain sensitivity when composing and arranging vocal chops, that can certainly be felt here, and that makes them have a powerful effect on the soul that I truly can’t describe with words – it has to be felt. Then there’s those amazing melodies, I would maybe call them “starry”, closest adjective I can find right now, but I think they’re something else. To me, at least. Something that can’t be felt elsewhere, a unique mood and trait. Not to mention so many of those distinct sounds and synths that Jastrian is using and that give the track such a unique sound and feeling. All in all, from all those things I tried to explain and much more there still is to the track, Celestial Endeavours happened to be an incredibly powerful emotional experience to me, something so powerful that I consider it “something else” or “divine”. And I can only hope that the “magic” could resonate with more of you. If not, I guess I’ll remain alone… But in any case, I hope you’ll like the track. It is for me an honor to be able to share it here on Horse Music Herald and to you all, and a blessing to be able to feel those otherworldly emotions. Thank you for reading, and thank you Jastrian for making that magic happen.

Mane In Green – For Equestria We Rise | Orchestral Metal

Here comes one of my favorite releases!! For the third and final act of the story initiated with The Eternal Reign of King Sombra, Mane In Green composed a 18-minutes track!! For me who uses to listen to some 20-minutes Prog Rock tracks, this is a real delight (and it does have hints of Prog Rock, progression-wise but also musically at times). And For Equestria We Rise is not just long and progressive, it has its own storyline, too! And the music fits so well with it! You can get the details in the description, with timestamps for the different parts, and there’s additional lines appearing in the video, along very fitting artworks. Mane In Green truly went all-out for this final chapter, and the result is nothing short of breathtaking, combining the musician’s talents at both Orchestral and Rock music, with even powerful organs and choruses in some parts bringing even more epicness. A progressive masterpiece and fusion of genres, empowered by an inspired story and a wonderful heartfelt message at the end. Truly one of Mane In Green’s finest works, if not simply the artist’s biggest masterpiece. You definitely want to sub to Mane In Green for more amazing content, and also don’t forget to show your support to the artist for his work and feelings!

John Doe – The Changing of Seasons | Orchestral

The composer of the OST of Pony Town himself, John Doe releases a new solo track, fitting very nicely as an accompaniment to the cover art just like an OST track would if this was a scene from a video game. The winds and piano are both doing a beautiful job at reflecting the serenity of the moment, and the track, almost as gentle as a lullaby, makes for a wonderful haven of sounds.
