StrachAttack – Bright | Hard Dance

You can expect quite a few songs on here from Opalescence in the coming days. First off is Bright from StrachAttack, and old project that he revived for this album in a somewhat unusual style. To quote the man himself, “Progressive House at 145 bpm, seriously, what would that even be?”

Horse Friends – Opalescence | Charity album to support TheLostNarrator released

Hey everyone. So, remember the announcement about that charity album we made a couple of days ago? Well it’s been finished and released! More details are on the Bandcamp page but basically, any funds needed to help TheLostNarrator will go to her surgery and medical fees, and anything raised past the $1,500 threshold will be given to a charity of her choice.

NeoN & Xavi – Penumbra (Techoh Girl Remix) | Electronic

The winner of Neon and Xavi’s recent remix competition, this track doesn’t really stick to one particular sub-genre. It flows from House to Dubstep and back again and shares some of the ethereal dark vibes of the original.

Jyc Row – Alicornae EP | Orchestral

After 5 months in the making, Jyc Row is proud to present his debut EP – Alicornae. Based around the 4 princesses of Equestria, something something potential spoilers, this EP explores each of these characters one by one, with a finale to wrap it up in a neat little bow at the end. Let’s get into it shall we? Full writeup after the break…

Community album to support TheLostNarrator

Hey guys, I’m sure plenty of you know about the situation regarding TheLostNarrator (and if you don’t, perhaps check out this video), and our friends over at the Top Ten Pony Songs are doing something to help. I’ll hand over to Reverie to explain; you can watch the embedded video above or read his press release below…

Hey all! My name is Reverie, and you probably know me from the Top Ten Pony Songs countdown.

Lost Narrator—an active member of the pony community—was rushed to the hospital only a little while ago to have emergency surgery on an ovarian cyst that had gone unnoticed for a long, long time. The problem lies in the medical and recovery bills that will follow the procedure. If you don’t live in the United States, you have to know that the healthcare system here is certainly less than perfect, in many ways. Needless to say, she needs help to pay these bills.

Horse Friends (the record company that I manage) is releasing a special compilation album of never before seen tracks by some of the fandom’s top artists, including Lavender Harmony, GatoPaint, PON3, Vylet, and many, many more. This album will be priced fairly low (between $5 and $10 U.S.), and 100% of the proceeds will be going to Lost Narrator in order to make her expenses less expensive. This album will be coming out very, very soon, so be ready for that.

We here at Horse Friends hope you pick up the album (and donate a little extra if you can afford it!) so that Lost can get back on her feet and back to making great content for this wonderful community.

Thank you!
~Reverie

Ponycide – Far Away | Trip-Hop

Completing what hackd called earlier “the holy trinity of chill”, we have a new song from Ponycide. They’ve been on a roll with Trip-Hop tracks recently, and this one delivers just as much. Go check it out for some jazzed-up time patterns!

ertrii – Holocaust | Chillstep

Continuing the chill vibe from Hay Tea’s track this morning, ertrii brings his usual atmospheric game to the table. Snappy yet reserved drums, smooth sub bass, and a euphoric keyboard melody are all brought together to make this a fantastic song.
