[P@D] Replacer – Days of Silence | Indie Pop

Ah imagination. Without it in childhood, could a lot of people create in their older years? This wonderful track 25, on P@D: Ignite. It’s really is like a soft dream that reminds you of those soft rock songs of the 60’s and 70’s. Where you drifted in and out of your own imagination. The lyrics done here by Replacer tells of a young Pegsai colt that likes to dream and make his own worlds and characters. Real life mirrors this for all of us. Being that strange kid that went out into the woods and fields and played pretend all by himself for hours. The song tells this story so well. It’s so wonderful. In full circle, this show we love is a world of make believe that had inspired so much creativity. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.

Ampderg – Falling (Part 1: Broken) | Indie Pop

The first part of Falling is here. It tells the tale of what remains of the Crystal Empire, now lacking the heart that keeps it in place. The music is rather laid back as an atmospheric piano plays to start off with, while his vocals are absolutely loaded with harmonies. There’s a lot of unique sounds here that are bliss on the ears, such as the glitzy synth chords and 8-bit notes, overall having Vylet Pony vibes! Can’t wait to see where this story goes!

[P@D] Paloris & ThatMusicBrony – Waiting – Melodic House

Waiting is song that someone, at some point, was going to make about Tempest’s struggles to move on. A song about her questioning how she is going to move on from her past. Track 3 on P@D Ignite. The melodies featuring Paloris, helps tell that story with some beautiful drops, and a arrangement to tell Tempest’s temperament at the moment of question. ThatMusicBrony’s lyrics and vocals give a sense of uncertainty that is pretty to the ears. Sprinkle in some vocal chops and you got a a long awaited tempest shadow track. Mood! As always, this Qilin asked you to judge for yourself.

[P@D] Pegskasister – Pegasus Ska Sisters | Ska Punk

So Francis Vace and PegasYs. You love the Mighty Mighty Bosstones so much that you made a Rainbow Dash inspired Ska punk track for P@D: Ignite? Well far out dudes!. At Track 52. The Duo known as the Pegskasisters come flying back with an uptempo track of what it seems like, the Pegasus ponies of ponyville seeing how far Rainbow Dash will go with her flying skill. The lyrics by PegasYs are so fun and catchy. Making references of kinds of RD’s skill of flying over the 9 seasons of the show. Francis Vase does the amazing part of the role of a whole ska band with all of the elements of Big Band and Punk rock. The man is called a legend of instrumentals for a reason, and does not disappoint here. There is even a breakdown of hard punk riffs that ends the track on a Sonic Rainboom! As always, This Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.

Chasing Dawn – One | Chill Pop

I absolutely adore this new track from Chasing Dawn!!! Octavia x Vinyl Scratch has been a staple of this fandom for as long as I can remember, and hearing a song about it brings me so much joy! The instrumental is very chill and airy, classic to the Chasing Dawn sound, but it has a bit of that extra drive that you’d expect from a Vinyl song, and I adore that! The lyrics are a magical journey themselves, telling the story of the beautiful love between two ponies with such different lives. I can’t wait for the next tune!

[P@D] BlueBrony – The Sacking of Griffonstone (feat. CadetRedShirt) | Soundtrack

Time to turn out the lights for such an extravagant listening experience. Track 59 from Ponies at Dawn: Ignite is The Sacking of Griffonstone, a soundtrack composition from BlueBrony featuring the vocal talents of CadetRedShirt. This piece tells a story about the fall of Griffonstone just through the power of music. Beginning with a brooding set of strings, the duo’s voices sing in unison in an eerie fashion as the music builds up with satisfying crescendos all around. Overall, it  paints a brutal mental image of the land crumbling, leaving what was once a beautiful city in ruin.

[P@D] lia;quo – Crystal Corruption II | Electro House

Remember lia;quo? She’s back with a reimagined version of her best known track Crystal Corruption as part of Ponies at Dawn: Ignite and it’s a sure-fire treat. The first drop includes catchy and blisteringly heavy bass sounds and strong string instruments, combining electronic and orchestra like they were meant for each other. Shortly after, the breakdown features some eerie bells before more orchestral strings fade in, building up to another drop with lots of melody to love. A warm welcome to lia;quo, who we hope stays to bring us more amazing music!

[P@D] Feryl DeMarco – Livid | Neurohop / IDM

Jazzy electric piano chords, ambient synths, neuro-inspired basses, and some of the heaviest drums of the century! This is a combination of elements I feel as though I could talk about for hours and hours, for this is Feryl DeMarco’s new track Livid. The absolute best things are short, sweet, and don’t come often, like the enjoyment of a piece of candy. This electronic masterpiece fits that bill better than any song I’ve listened to in the past month or so. The recent album Ponies at Dawn: Ignite features this song, which I feel it absolutely deserves its place. Music like this is where music is headed. Thank you so much, Feryl DeMarco!
