Part of Ponies at Dawn Eternal, this pre-release is giving a taste of all the delightful rock/metal gems that you’ll find on the album. I’m happy that Blackened Blue is kicking it off on YouTube, with such a lovely and deep tribute to the Pillars of Equestria! All of Blackened’s mastery of the genre was used to craft this piece of many wonders that will take you through several vocal styles and a rich instrumentation with all those blissful rock instruments that we love. Give it up for Blackened, who’s also helping out in here at Horse Music Herald!

Dijit – Peppermint (feat. Puffy) (DeaDmau6 Remix) | Future Bass
Quite an emotional remix of Dijit‘s original track, this new musical endeavor by DeaDmau6 is giving a new spin to the original vocal chops with this slower play, and provides a new instrumental accompaniment that empowers the emotion gotten from the chops with a powerful deep bass and ambient melodies. That makes for such a creative contrast and dynamic with the vocals, and sparks a certain magic that I couldn’t explain with words.
BaconHairGirl – The Sun Will Rise Soon | Chillout
For Sunset Day and in tribute to our beloved unicorn-turned-human, BaconHairGirl created this very soothing piece that reflects so well the deserved peace of mind and the resolve that the strong girl got after all that happened. Definitely picturing much character depth, those melodies are quite emotional and this song makes for the perfect music to listen to while reflecting on your own life and past, gazing at a sunset, with these characters in your heart!
[ASOS] Night Blaze – Elements of Symphony | Orchestra
Night Blaze returns with their contribution to ASOS: Waffle – track 38 and the album’s closing track – Elements of Symphony. It’s an orchestral number that feels hopeful, steady and calming. While there’s only a small ensemble of a piano, strings and the odd percussion, the track feels full and beautiful. An absolutely wonderful way to close off an already brilliant album!
UndreamedPanic – Stratosphere VIP (feat. Metajoker) | Progressive House
Remember this one? Well, it’s back, and this time with a brand new coat of paint with a little help from Metajoker. While it contains all the familiar elements from the original such as the bouncy house melodies and MLP vocal chops, it also adds new vocals and lyrics from Metajoker that suit the music perfectly. Amazing work from this duo!
MirroredReality – Pirates of the Skies | Pirate Music / Psytrance

FilledSilhoutte – S.A.S.L | French House
Crisp chords, addictive vocal chops, and a catchy bassline. This short funky and fun song exudes an excellent 80s vibe and encapsulates what French House can bring to the table. Always love seeing songs like this come forward and FilledSillhoutee did an excellent job with this song!
Spikey Wikey – In The Jungle | Jungle
Our beloved Spikey Wikey hasn’t finished impressing us it seems! This new release from his upcoming album (dropping on September 30th) is definitely bringing all the atmospheric bliss along gritty sounds and stylish vocal sampling, for an experience like no other in the deep jungle!
Neu KatalYst – Bug Song (Never Look Back) | Drum & Bass / Jungle
I appreciate fan songs like these so much, responding to certain characters’ depth and story! Neu KatalYst did amazing on the vocals, instrumental, and concept for this Ocellus-themed masterpiece that definitely has a lot of emotion. Through the deep bass, gorgeous melodies, bright vocals and thoughtful lyrics, experience what the musician and fellow brony has thought about Ocellus’ story!
[P@D] Hay Tea – Tea Hugger | Liquid Drum & Bass
When it comes to character-themed songs. One of the best things you can do is make something relatable to them. Hay Tea then brings something like this!. Our first preview song of P@D Eternal. We get into the vibe of Tree Hugger. This song has very fast, but very smooth exotic melodies. It has all the quick composition of Drum and Bass is expected of.
