This is a wonderful reimagining of the song from the show and it will brighten up your day and put a smile on your face for sure. So what are you waiting for? Dive on in!
Yelling at Cats – What Went Wrong (Chang31ing Remix) | Trap
Chang31ing keeps the remixes of some awesome classics rolling with an amazing trap remix of Yelling at Cats’ What Went Wrong. A super deep bassline and some really good but minimal drums makes this song a banger that you have to listen to. I love the little lead thing in the drop section, it brings the whole feeling together and makes this an enjoyable song.
Assertive Fluttershy – Boooring! (statoose & Nocturnal Remix) | Drum & Bass
This remix will probably give a lot of listeners nostalgia. This is by far one of my favorite songs out there in the community, and to see it remixed is awesome. This track, while preserving the original elements, adds new and chill music to it, perfectly mixing the fast energy of the original with the new, mellow music.
Acouste Wholenote – When The Party’s Over | Acoustic Rock
If there’s one good thing I can say about post-con-depression, it’s that it can be a good outlet, as our old pal Acouste Wholenote has demonstrated. Though he never got the chance to go to BronyCon, he still felt the need to give it a proper sendoff with this stripped-down acoustic number. With only his powerful voice and an acoustic guitar, he strums his way through flawlessly and sings with passion, closing off with an electric solo and a fade-out. As sad as it is to see BronyCon go, let’s never forget the good times we’ve all had together.
[NSN] Hoofy – Nightmare Fuel | Riddim
Serving as the 3rd track on the Never Say Neigh compilation album, this compound of Trap and Riddim precipitates a headbang session. It incorporates a trap-influenced introduction complete with unsparingly rhythmic hi-hats until a breakdown of vigorous drums and rolling basses. Stick around for the two surges of rhythm that Hoofy bestows upon us, and while you’re at it, check out the rest of the brilliant NSN album, too!
GeekBrony – Last Tempest (ROKII Remix) | House
Sit back, because this is a long one. ROKII brings forth a new take on the original song by GeekBrony with a new key and bouncier instrumental. Vylet’s vocals are noticably higher than in the original, yet still keep the somber feeling looming over the track. The vast majority of this track is a bouncy house track just like the original, but at 8 minutes in length, this will no doubt hype up the club. Get ready to bounce!
Wind Sthorm – A l’ombre de la Nouvelle Lune ~ Divine Rencontre | Soundtrack
Wind Sthorm’s been off the grid for a while, but now they’re back with a short but sweet orchestral number about the princess of the night! Along with the song’s art depicting Luna presumably getting her wings for the first time, the strings, piano and choir all come together to form an emotional piece as beautiful as her very own night sky. This is the start of the new era of Wind Sthorm, and it looks like we’re in for a treat from this point onward.
Elias Frost – Evil Rises | Soundtrack
The great and powerful Elias Frost returns with an original orchestral track! This one represents the great evils of Equestria returning at the beginning of S9, and it shows. A slow burner; it starts out with an ominous choir before picking up the pace with string instruments, heavy percussion and wind instruments as a supplement. Like his previous track Twilight Hime, it’s a track that’ll be featured on his soon-to-be-released album, Stories Vol. III. Be on the lookout!
[ASOS] Jalmaan – Cascade | Progressive House
Ahoy! A brand new grand convoy of splendid house music awaits! Frictionless synths build a sincere atmosphere, and almighty leads gleam among these musically interesting harmonies. Sway along to this emotionally resonating cascade that Jalmaan donates. Now promoted by the ASOS: Waffle compilation album, there’s no reason not to listen to this cathartic progressive house ballad!
[ASOS] Cynifree & Zizkil – From Here To Where (VIP) | Complextro
From Waffle, the latest compilation from A State of Sugar comes a VIP version of Cynifree and Zizkil‘s From Here To Where, originally from Ice Cream! While the original was a jumpy and cheerful progressive house piece that definitely suited the Kirins, this one shows their harsher Nirik side with the use of aggressive synths, harsh leads and a chopped up vocal sample of Autumn Blaze. The two producers have come together once again to make something heavy-hitting and definitely something you can bang your head to!
