The mix between the orchestral/classical and the IDM/modern sounds make this Seventh Element track one of the best coming from the Enigma album, reminding me of other 7th songs like Shadows and Tetrahedral Memoir, Remaining Ichor looks like a continuation of this song, because in my head and with the amazing capacity of Seventh doing amazing concept albums, I think that more songs, and 7th would release a concept album full of orchestral idm! Remaining Ichor is one of the many proofs that the brony community has talented musicians and are able to experiment with various sounds and textures, creating sound landscapes, waves of pure abstractism! The way the classical sounds change into an electronic sound it’s simply amazing. If I could say, Seventh Element is like the Boards of Canada and Venetian Snares son, with Godspeed You! Black Emperor beeing the close uncle. Result? Pretty good music.

Radiarc – Here we are | Chillout / Hybrid Orchestral
“And here we’ll be, until life brings us elsewhere.”
Polishing up this elegant and laid back piece, Radiarc gives us a soothing perspective of life through song. I’ve always been amazed at what comes from this artist, the fine details and atmosphere painted; melding together ethnic, jazz, orchestral, and electronic elements to create something organic, alive. I find myself lost and thinking back on the hardships faced in life up until this point. Yet I’m still here. We’re still here. Through joy, through sadness, reminiscence, and hope we carry on. As our stories continue, just beyond the horizon.
Night Symphony – Pony of the Night | Soundtrack
This new piece from Night Symphony may be shorter than 2 minutes in duration, it is still mighty impressive and displays such progressive and melodic aspects that make it very similar to Soundtrack (for example OST from J-RPG games). A proof that you can do a lot in a short track duration, Pony of the Night blows us away with a progression between melodic parts on piano, strings, and organ. There’s even epic choruses backing up the melodies for an emotional result much fitting to the theme, as well as a drums accompaniment that brings variety to the orchestral arrangement and that is definitely reminiscent of Soundtrack. A little, sparkling gem of a track!
Tripon – Poison Joke | Drum & Bass
Previously hinted by a hype trailer, Tripon’s upcoming new EP Equestrian Ravers gets an early pre-release track on the channel, and it’s the intricate Poison Joke! Flavorful, rich and blissful with some affinity to dark vibes, the DnB treat heralds the advent of more wonders to come in the EP, out December 22nd!
Rockin’Brony – For The New Lunar Republic (Covering Not A Clever Pony) | Symphonic Metal
Bronycon’s master shredder goes old school in this intense tribute to a legendary fandom classic! Keeping close to iamnotacleverpony’s dramatic, orchestral opening, Rockin’ introduces his own intense flavor of metal guitar riffs about a minute into the track. While staying true to the original For the New Lunar Republic, this cover is very much its own style and take, utilizing an 80s synth and refreshing bass nicely throughout the track. Of course, no Rockin’Brony track is complete without a mind-blowing guitar solo and ever-intensifying drums! Make sure to check this song out for a powerful trip down memory lane!
Remember Falling – Escape | Indie Pop / Alternate Electronic
One more step toward the release of the Monolith album, Escape presents another part of the plot of the story and displays RF’s alternate musical vision once more, one that definitely shows much creativity. An intricate progression of mysterious atmospheres and vocals in the dark open the path to a tasty drop that delivers hard-hitting-ness in such an unexpected yet blissful way!
Brilliant Venture – Moving On From Yesterday (Venture’s Memory Melody Intro Mix) | Alternate Electronic
Another of Brilliant’s “Trotcon Exclusive” releases, this one feels quite special as it’s accompanied by a full-fledged music video! And as you could expect from the personal meaning behind Moving On From Yesterday, the video is conveying lots of personal things including what the brony community gave to Brilliant. A love letter to bronies and an ode to the emotions felt, this “Intro Mix” and its music video are certainly a milestone on Brilliant’s channel and I’m so happy that it happened and that I can share it with this post! Go give lots of hugs to Brilliant Venture everypony!
[NSN] Hoofy – Sleeping Pills | Deathstep
One of the founders of the Never Say Neigh label, Hoofy contributed to the collection of mad wubs in Black Stable Vol. 1 with his own Deathstep banger! It’s inspired by sleeping problems reflected in his OC, and this wicked tune certainly depicts well the sleepless-ness through these hot drops keeping you awake!
[P@D] Hay Tea & Faulty – Chasing Sunlight | Liquid Drum & Bass
Coming at you with a fast and tense piece; Hay Tea and Faulty bring us ‘Chasing Sunlight’ from Ponies at Dawn: Enigma and its a very good piece to get the adrenaline going while keeping a smooth flavour all around and makes wonderful use of sampling and instrumentation to give off that old-school DnB vibe. If you’re looking for something carries a lot of tension and suspense, this is the track for you!
