Known for his creativity and wide variety of talents, Francis Vace ventures into the world of synthwave with this track. Utilizing some cool, crazy synths in combination with the vocals we all know so well, Vace creates his own kind of unique ambience around the season 7 gem. With fun and silly edits to the choruses as well as amazing synth breaks from the singing, this is a truly distinct, inspiring piece!
Daniel Ingram – I’ve Got To Find A Way (Twitch & Faulty Remix) | Hands Up
The very last Twitch song ever, and it’s a pony song! This one has an interesting history, related in the video’s description. And it’s got those archetypal, lovely Twitch techno sounds, as well as the Faulty feel. I’ve Got to Find a Way has long been one of my favorite songs from the show, and this remix of it is truly inspired.
Vylet Pony – No Matter What (2017) | Indie Pop
NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 26 December 2017.
Some more awesome music to celebrate the afterglow of the big holiday with, this time we have some lovely downtempo electronic stuff. First up is a festive chillout tune from ertrii that mixes his signature house-y synth sounds with some great Twilight vocal samples and sleigh bells. The other track here is a re-imagining of one of Vylet’s older tunes called No Matter What, the 5th year in a row he’s recreated it, and this one has some great indie vibes and a nice use of chorus harmonies.
ertrii – Magical | Downtempo
Ah, Christma-err Hearthswarming! A magical time where friendship is more important than the rest of the year! Where we listen to really cool synthpoppy downtempo tracks about that magical feeling! A 3 minutes track done by our big chill music producer, ertrii! The sampling work of Twilight’s lines is really well done! And the synths are really chilling and amazing, joined with the amazing drums that make this track danceable! Also, those awesome bells for remembering that we are in a special time are also really magical, if you know what I mean! Good job on this one!

Jastrian – A Wintery Evening | Orchestral
Jastrian is back and with a beautiful tribute to the winter season! This pretty piano track uses soft, high notes that move like snow mixed with strong, low tones which round out the sound and bring the sensation of the holidays to your ears. Jastrian orchestrates both a subtly cheerful opening and then builds to a lively middle sections, creating a truly capturing representation of the holiday season.

Editor’s note: HE’S ALIVE!
To celebrate hearth’s warming eve µThunder has brought us a new remix of one of the songs from A Hearth’s Warming Tail. With their remix of Say Goodbye To The Holiday being so warmly received, it’s cool to see a new one of another song from the same episode. It’s pretty upbeat with some fun lead melodies and good use of the vocals, so check it out!
Scraton – Aesthetics | Chillstep
NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 25 December 2017.
Scraton’s music is always really interesting, and this tune especially has a lot of little sounds that feel quite fitting to the song’s name. The addition of some vocal elements also adds depth to the tune, and the chilled out composition mixes well with the glitch-y vibes through the track.
FruityFusion – Get Funk’d Horse | Electro-Funk / Glitch Hop
Imaging mix the funk genre with the glitch genre, both focusing on bass and both really awesome, why not experimenting that? Well, FruityFusion did exactly that! A 4-minute groovy and funky track full of fat basses! The swing on it is also amazing and I love how it works! FruityFusion is really a genius in his music, his music is exotic and urban at the same time, it’s both oldie and new, and both aggressive and calm! All this with amazing sampling and amazing drum work! Good job FruityFusion, you made more one reason why you are so great!
Nicolas Dominique – Cuando La Luna Camina En La Noche | Ambient
¡Sí, se habla español aquí! But we mostly stick to English for the writeups. Nic’s working on a new album full of chill goodness, and this is one of the songs that will feature on it. Published just after the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, it works as a counterpart to Le Soleil, which was released at the Summer Solstice. Clever, that.
