Synth Pony – After Apocalypse | Chillout
Very atmospheric track from Synth Pony who has also gone back to remaster one of their works. Highlighted with a lovely, angelic choir, the track blends in orchestral elements with synth work over a steady beat to paint a solemn soundscape.
Nymira – Luna Did It | Electronic
Nymira’s been pretty busy in the last several months! Among their quickly growing body of works are some solid ideas that I think have a lot of potential, particularly on the more experimental side of things. This track nicely concludes with an uplifting house beat supporting a bright chord progression.
Evdog – The Artist | Ballad
Here’s the last of the tracks that Evdog has be remastering. A piano ballad stylized with some modern vocal chopping flair, this track explores the pressures that can often weigh on the minds of creatives.
Facexplodie – Have Peace Again (Flustershy Remix) | Breakcore
Flustershy, AKA Cerulean Draw, AKA loophoof, seems to have a new alias for every track they release. Here we have a sort of Breakcore/IDM remix of Facexplodie’s 2013 track Have Peace Again. Go check it out for something that’s…a bit different.
Quicksilver – Sleepless | Skacore
Yo! Time to dig in to another incredible track from Quicksilver. I try to give tracks time to settle before throwing them on the scales, but this might be his best work yet. Just beautiful execution of everything across the board- this is going to be stuck in my head all day. Daniel Ingram – I’ll Fly (Twilight Skies Remix) | Chillstep
Wow! This is an incredible debut upload to Twilight Skies’ YouTube channel, but it looks like they’ve got at least a year of work cataloged on their Soundcloud. Either way you should definitely check them out, very cool vibe.
Risen – Soul Meets Soul | Electro House
Here’s something we don’t frequently see: a cover of an existing EDM song. Originally “Pony Meets Pony” by Sim Gretina, Risen has covered the composition with his own design choices. Also note that Risen is now also operating under the alias Age of Vinyl and you’ll be able to find the links to his new channel in the video description.
Neon Skyler – Vintage Dreams | Pop
If you’re looking for some stylish rapping over a poppy beat, consider checking out this new track by Neon Skyler. The song explores how Rarity- like many of us- can have the tendency to get so caught up in what they love that we can saturate ourselves with stress and spiral into burnout in pursuit of perfection.
