Brambleshadow4 – Celebration | Electronic
There’s always a reason to celebrate, and this lovely track from Brambleshadow4 is showing us that through music, bringing a smile to our face while we experience the cheerful mood of the song and the sweet feelings it evokes from its blissflul and sometimes familiar melodies, doing callbacks to such S1 classics as Winter Wrap Up. Time to celebrate with our beloved ponies!
ExplodingPonyToast – The Paragon | DnB
With Balloon Party 4’s release, we are also seeing a bunch of songs released that, for whatever reason, weren’t included on the album. ExplodingPonyToast’s The Paragon is one of those tracks and although it wasn’t accepted, the effort put into this shows. It’s a Twilight inspired number that alternates between regal and endearingly cheesy.
Luna – Garden Paradise | Uplifting Trance
Man, feels like ages since I heard some proper 140 bpm uplifting trance, and this new track from Luna does the job just nicely. Have an 8-minute song to fill your trance needs for the day, because slow progression is best progression.
New affiliate – Cider Party returns!
Cider Party, the promotional channel for electronic brony music, is back after a few months’ hiatus, now powered by the HMH team! Consequently the channel will now act as a sub-entity of the Horse Music Herald, an advanced affiliate of sorts.
Cider Party
Cider Party was founded by Spikey Wikey, AKA Tacos, in September 2014 as a way to promote electronic songs and artists in the brony music scene. It originally ran, posting multiple songs each week, until September 2015, when Spikey felt he needed to step down from the channel, as ultimately the task of following the entirety of the brony music collective, managing video uploads, and hunting for the best art to use is a far greater commitment than any individual should be expected to so consistently carry out. But while it’s been dormant, we have managed to construct a means of putting the channel back on track for regular uploads of the best electronic music the fandom has to offer, and we hope to do just that. You can find the channel right here.
To kick things off, we’re taking a track from the last Ponies at Dawn album that was never released on YouTube. So sit back and enjoy Morgsch – Let The Sun Rise (Exiark Remix).
Panic – Calm Wind | House
Panic (or should that be UndreamedPanic? Nobody knows!) brings the usual quality electronic tracks again. If you’re familiar with his music you’ll know what to expect. If not, there’s a ton of tracks waiting for you, go check them out!
ChickenSteve – Tartarus | Eurobeat
Eurobeat has an interesting history in the fandom, being some of the first music to ever hit the scene and stay there, and it looks like ChickenSteve has really picked up on what made the first tracks from way back when shine! Give it a listen, I’m sure it’ll really take you back!
Denz Xavier – Soarin Free (MeetSouder’s Orchestral Arrangement) | Orchestral
We posted the original version of this song by Denz Xavier here here a few weeks ago, and now we have an orchestral version by Meetsounder. It’s always interesting to hear alternative versions of songs we know, keep up the good work MeetSouder!
Zatslol – A Thousand Melodies | Soft Rock
Zatslol has produced some pretty awesome fandom tunes in the past, but his time with ponies seems to have finally run its course. The lyricism behind this track is really quite beautiful, singing about some stuff that I’m sure a lot of us musicians can relate to. Francis Vace – Fruits Of Her Labour (feat. PegasYs) | Ska
Another track from Vace’s Souvenirs album, this cover nicely re-imagines the work originally done by Glaze and StormWolf and features the awesome vocal talent of PegasYs. Check out the rest of the album if you’d like to hear more covers of some of the community’s early classics.
