GhostXb – Endless Faith | Symphonic Rock
A new post from the GhostXb is always a great refresher for my more electronic ears, perfectly embodying Applejack in this track which merges electric and acoustic guitar sounds with the flowing sound of an orchestra before bringing in a hit of that classic “Old West Action” feeling from eons past (Clint Eastwood would be proud). All in all one of my favorites of the new year, good job Ghost.
Draconequus – Tricks Up My Sleeve (Cover) | Metal
Draconequus have released some high quality tracks in the past, and this time is no different as they deliver a high quality lounge metal cover of one of the most popular tracks from the second Equestria Girls movie, Tricks Up My Sleeve, all wrapped up in a very well produced music video.
Agents of Discord ft. Olly Hancock – Friendship is Magic (Revamp) | Breakbeat
Friendship is Magic by the team of Agents and Olly, takes you on a nostagic 10 minute long journey with catchy, upbeat elements and manages to keep you entertained the entire time. Between the Twilight vocal chops, cheery synths and beat this is definitely a solid tune.
Kadenza – Dreamwalker | Melodic House
From Kadenza, one of the best creators of upbeat house music in the fandom, comes a new melodic house track full of good vibes. Inspired by the likes of Alan Walker and Ahrix, the feel of this track will be pretty familiar to anybody who has heard their style of music before. An uplifting build and an energetic drop with a catchy melody help make this one of Kadenza’s best tunes yet.
WoodLore – Pantina | Acoustic
After an 8-month hiatus, WoodLore makes his triumphant return with his beautiful voice and excellent guitar playing, Patina is a great song about our favorite zebra, Zecora and her journey throughout all the land before finally coming to her home near to Ponyville.

About a month ago, myself (Spectra) and Francis Vace realised that the perception of the brony fandom’s music scene isn’t what it used to be. Gone are the days when everyone knew about all the music being released, and with a good reason: an oversaturation of new artists. It became difficult to decide who to follow or what to listen to among the many, many new songs released every single day.
That’s where we come in.
Our aim here at Horse Music Herald is to provide a way to share good music by brony artists for anyone to enjoy. Whether you want to discover more lesser-known artists, find just a few songs to listen to, or are getting into the brony music scene for the first time, we believe this is the right website for you.
As well as multiple “solo” posts every day, we have plans to post about new album releases, events in the music scene, and other kinds of music related posts that we’ll introduce later on (#TBT anyone?). But for now, all we ask of you is to enjoy the music.
