Some where in between Cherax’s original and his acoustic version (and somewhat of a departure from what we’re used to from Spec) sits this lovely acoustic rock rendition. Delicately assembled, but still packing a punch.

StealingShad3Z is back with what I consider to be his signature style – an acoustic pop-punk style piece focused around a single guitar and his voice. The song is a special piece for Hearts and Hooves Day (or Valentine’s Day for you Earth dwellers), so check it out if you’re into that sort of thing.
Spectra’s Top 10 Pony Songs of 2015
Hey guys, Spectra here. So I decided to jump on the bandwagon and do one of these Top 10 lists, so after purging through my liked videos playlist altering my Top 25 of the year vote to avoid duplicates with the others from this site, I narrowed it down to these 10. Again, they’re not in any particular order, but the last two are kind of my two overall favourites. Catch them after the break!
Treblemaker – Vertigo | Acoustic
I really admire this piece because it perfectly captures what the writer (supposedly Rarity) is trying to say, it’s simplicity really helps hammer home the love-struck feeling that warmed my heart the second I heard it. A great track to listen to on a long car ride or while lounging on the beach, or anywhere where you just want to lay out and chill out.
Zatslol – Lunar Lovesong | Acoustic
Lunar Lovesong, part of Zatslol’s “Goodbye Horsie Time” project, is a mellow, stripped back acoustic piece in honour of best princess Princess Luna. 2 guitars, a voice and a metronome; sometimes that’s all it takes.
Celestial Throne – Echoes in the Distance | Acoustic
Something a tad more gentle from Celestial Throne this time. A really nice stripped down, very textural, acoustic piece about a rather sad yellow horse.
WoodLore – Pantina | Acoustic
After an 8-month hiatus, WoodLore makes his triumphant return with his beautiful voice and excellent guitar playing, Patina is a great song about our favorite zebra, Zecora and her journey throughout all the land before finally coming to her home near to Ponyville.
