Continuing their Strange and Isolated series, we have a new song from A Symphony Of Two. Although I’m calling this ‘orchestral’, this piece also contains a lot of ambient elements, synths, and sound effects, which to be honest, add so much more to ambiance and the theme of this series.
Ambient
NextLevelDerp – Eidolon Pony EP | Electronic
Just two months after his last EP, NLD has a brand new one for us! Forecasts show mostly hardcore with a touch of house, all with a spooky ghost vibe going on. Catch the full thing after the break.
General Mumble – She Sank | Electronic
Taken from last year’s Mourning in Ponyville EP, this song draws on and elaborates on a vocal sample from The Pony I Want To Be to give a much darker vibe than any other song I’ve seen use those vocals.
Reverbrony – To Kiss The Skies | Progressive Ambient Rock
With a title somewhat evoking Trivium-ish Heavy Metal songs to me, this piece is surprisingly of the softests, with Reverbrony’s magic for creating unique, beautiful, and concept-centered tracks shining bright once again. Angelic piano melodies followed by gentle yet meaningful and powerful guitar play guide us along Fluttershy’s steps, encompassing the poetry from the cover art in a brand new way, perhaps reflecting the story of our favorite Nature-loving pegasus. A work of art in more ways than one!
Seventh Element – Slumber | Psychedelic
Now continuing on a dark streak, have a release from the memorable and forever amazing Tampopo Tempo concept album by collective Auswahlaxiom (now available for order as a physical CD copy!), its sixth track Slumber, by Seventh Element. Rediscover the dark story and concept that many musicians embraced for this album, in pure Experimental and Psychedelic form, completed with mighty visuals worthy of the original spirit of the album.
ModernBard – Landscapes at Night | Ambient
ModernBard really stood out to me at the end of last month with their contribution to Awakening. Now I’m just as in awe at their latest song, Landscapes At Night. Simple chord progressions really work well when you have the right sounds to do so, and the ethereal pads in this do just the job! Take a seat, listen to this, and relax…
Undreamed Panic – Dark Magic | Album | Electronic
Suddenly, a new mini-album from Panic! This was released in celebration of him reaching 5,000 subscribers on YouTube! Send your congrats to Panic, and read on for the full album writeup…
Radiarc – Penumbra | Album | Orchestral/Electronica
A collection of work that has mostly been released within the last six months, Radiarc has compiled these cinematic releases onto one full length album. The tracks draw inspiration from several sources, primarily among them are MLP and Undertale. Check out the track-by-track review after the break.

Exiark – Backstab | Album | Electronic
Exiark, one of my favourite musicians in the fandom, has graced us with yet another album. To quote his bandcamp page, “This album was based on a simple concept: Stab Your friends in the back and run away…” Make of that what you will, and catch the full album review after the break!
A Symphony Of Two – Lost Freedom | Trip Hop
Tom from A Symphony Of Two (formerly Ponycide) reveals a wonderful Trip Hop masterpiece with a subtle yet definitely present Ambiant vibe, empowered by the cover art. Immerse yourself into the piece, delightfully reminding me of BGM field tracks such as The Way, as the beautiful piano melodies unfold, perhaps embodying the raindrops, and as the mellow saxophone and trumpet plays from both Tom and his dad guide you while you wander along those streets.
