Emotional masterpiece incoming! I don’t need to introduce Ponytronic anymore, and his impressive streak of unique tunes with a signature mellow twist has come to what is in my opinion an emotional pinnacle, with this new release being just as unique and amazing as it is powerful to the soul. An original start gives way to an instrumental of indescribable beauty, progressing with much sensitivity, and synthesizing emotional melodies with a beat and sounds that are as clear as water. As for the ending, it is simply bringing me to tears every single time I relisten to it. And I swear those emotions are SO powerful that they seem like they’re coming from another world. That, is the true power of music, and I feel blessed to experience it thanks to tracks like these. That masterpiece of an outro, bringing untold emotions and probably coming from divine inspiration, is a blessing to have in the track, and I can’t thank Ponytronic enough for that. Music is magic, for real!

[P@D] Thrasher – Orbit (Brilliant Venture Remix) | Metalstep
Thrasher’s song Orbit from the last P@D album was already one of my favourites, Vylet’s vocal edit was great too. And we’re keeping that train of production rolling with Brilliant Venture’s Remix, which combines the awesome guitar riffs of the original with Brill’s (somewhat) newfound sound design skills. Two different paces too – full time breakbeat for the first drop and half time dubstep in the second – always a decent little switchup for any ~140bpm song.
[P@D] Phoxi – Starlight Ataraxia (Lovestruck Brony Remix) | Electronic
TBH I have no idea what genre this is because Lovestruck did such a good job of blending a bunch of different styles together, but namely dubstep and a kind of garage/breakbeat type part. And it’s not afraid to suddenly switch things up between the 2 styles. If you havent’ heard it already, I can almost guarantee the drop will take you by surprise.
PegasYs ft. Midnight Melody – Dental Damn (Agents of Discord Remix) | Hip-Hop
This gives me flashbacks to about a year ago when the original of this track was released. Unfortunately far too late for the remix EP, but it’s nice to see this tune still being remixed. In this particular version, AoD makes plenty of use of the horns from the original, combined with a classic break beat rhythm and hip-hop style drum sampling.
Horse Music Central – Vol. 1 | Complilation Album | Multi-Genre

Horse Music Central, a group for brony musicians, have released their first compilation album, organised by FruityFusion, Spectra and Violin Melody, called Horse Music Vol. 1! This album, comprising 14 tracks, features relatively established artists such as Ryazan, fractilx and FruityFusion himself, as well as other new and upcoming artists such as Filly in the Box, Intersekt and Lunar Dance. With the money made from the album going towards charity, it’s definitely something worth checking out if you like compilation projects (I know I do!). Totalspark’s second contribution to the Shika No Mori Sound compilation album Beauty In The Trees after the amazing Dreamscapes, this much original Breakbeat piece seems to make the soul wander in curiosity and bliss as fascinating drums and awe-inspiring melodies unfold, perhaps reflecting the pioneering among remnants of a Fallen Empire.

Including future house, chillout, future bass and house, as well as some cute artwork from Cadie, it’s definitely a cool mix of music worth checking out. Here it is, what’s bound to be the best Ponies At Dawn album yet. With each new album comes both a new selection of artists as well as some of the great ones who have been around for a while – something that is in my opinion the best balance when compiling brony music.
