The feelings displayed in the Opalescence charity album continue to inspire, and here we’ve got a lovely, powerful chill Future remix by none other than talented singer and composer PegasYs (I’m his biggest fanboy by the way), featuring famous VA Pinkie Rose. Raging Rarity – Guardians | Chill Trap
Raging Rarity strikes again with a changeling attack, in the form of a dark yet beautiful Chill Trap piece. I feel some sort of “crystal” vibe to this track, evoking subtles notes of a field BGM which would fit for the kind of place the chengelings are living in, perhaps some dark cave with glowing crystals here and there. Experience the musical bliss as that mix of genres unfolds!
Pony Music – Lessons of Equestria EP | Electronic
Time for another EP! This time our Swiss friend Pony Music has a 4-track EP to offer us. Rather than the usual Bandcamp uploads we’re used to, he is instead using Indietorrent, a relatively new site, the creators of which he is friends with. We have a preview of the songs via a YouTube video, but the full experience only costs $3. Full writeup after the break.
Feather – Like Breathing (Buffalo Brony Rework) | Chillout / Rap
This song is giving me nostalgia for Feather’s singing all over again. Here Buffy took one of Feather’s old songs and added his own rap vocals to it; a simple but effective way to give a voice to his thoughts. Not so much of a pony song as his other works, but pleasant nonetheless.
DJRedSky – A Change of Heart | Chillout
DJRedSky’s doesn’t often do vocals, but it’s nice to hear him step up and sing for this track about Trixie. He also includes some snazzy vocal chopping to accompany the chill backing track, complete with sexy saxophone!
Vylet Pony – 真美 ( ft. / / K y u n n ) | Chillout
It means “True Beauty”, before you ask. Vylet’s been experimenting around with chill / hip-hop stuff recently, and I’m loving it! Check out this wonderful new song, it’s very relaxing.
PegasYs – Dental Damn (feat. Midnight Melody) (BlueBrony Remix) | Elevator music
Blue musician BlueBrony surprises with their take on the character track for blue pony Colgate titled Dental [Redacted], originally by PegasYs and Midnight Melody. Self-proclaimed Elevator music by the looks of the cover art, this mellow tune definitely proves the merits of the genre and is much appreciated. I recommend checking out BlueBrony’s channel by the way, many interesting tracks to be found! Plus, he’s Blue. (reference intended)
Vylet Pony – Princess | Chill / Hip-Hop
Have something chill and cute to end the day. Vylet is transcending genres as he often does with this chill, hip-hop, futurey(?) song he made to help fill the gap before his upcoming albums is released. It’s nice.
Sights Unseen – Our Ending | Alternate Electronic
Like a chant to his beloved one or an ode out of loving and caring feelings, Sights Unseen presents Our Ending, a lovely track of almost 8 minutes of musical tenderness. Dedicated to his marefriend Kayti Sparklewriter (Cadie‘s sis) who I’ve also been following for a while, this bittersweet yet strong and hopeful song makes Sights’ signature style reach its height as powerful feelings unfold in this much heartfelt track.
ertrii – Discover | Chillout
It seems like chill master ertrii has arrived to deliver another chill masterpiece! His new track Discover is filled with heavenly use of reverb, beautiful catchy melodies and is pretty much the definition of majestic. (Single tear)
