Light Assassin delivers a sick remix of Happy Bug Noises from Suskii and Glitchling, and it sounds like something that would play at some rave in the changeling kingdom! Imagining lots of changelings (“old” changelings or “new” changelings) dancing to this in some rad setting, is awesome! Bring the wubs and beats!

Neon Lights – Civil War | Big Room House
N O V U S O R D O S E C L O R U M
Neon Lights has already blown me away with some of their other house songs, and it’s fantastic to see them both on the new Ponies At Dawn album and featuring on Cider Party too! This track has a great hard hitting drop with big, full saws, and both deep and growly basses.
This is the last of our Ponies At Dawn pre-releases. The album goes up later tonight and the livestream starts in about an hour!
The Dark Side – Back To The Action | Big Room
The Dark Side is now Back To The Action with a returning track shining as bright as the cover art. Uplifting melodies and a soothing mood provide quite a delightful experience, and the progression is quite amazing with several melodic parts completing each other in a beautiful journey of sound.
Throwback Thursday | ShadyVox – Pony Rock Anthem (feat. Nowacking & BreeFaithVA) | Electro House
Editor’s note: hey look remember TBTs haha we didn’t for a long time
If there’s a single song that truly captures the zeitgeist of 2012, this might well be it. ShadyVox‘s lead vocals as Neon Lights are excellent, Nowacking does a flawless Vinyl as usual, and BreeFaithVA‘s at home as Pinkie. The pumping beat, soaring leads, and ecstatic vocals all combine to form a perfect hype-up tune. If you’ve heard this before, you’re in for some serious nostalgia. And if you haven’t, you’re in for a wonderful surprise.
[P@D] iblank2apples & R3CTIFIER – Phoenix | Electro
What’s this? An amazing dubstep collaboration for the new Ponies @ Dawn album! Showing off some dedicated love about Princess Celestia’s phoenix, the duo showers you down with great sounding wubs and impressive chord work. Their sound design together is on FIRE up in here, so while you wait for P@D’s eleventh album release that’s planned to happen this Friday, come on over and shake it down with Philomena!
Ponylution – Nightmare | Drum & Bass / Neurofunk
This dark Nightmare from Ponylution brings twisted wubs along a stylish DnB beat, and shines with the power of the Moon. With tasty sound design, it is a relentless hard-hitting track that will convey once again that Darkness isn’t to be feared.
Suskii & Cyfr – Clockwork | Dubstep
Tasty bug-flavored tracks galore in Suskii’s upcoming EP, and this new pre-release made in collaboration with Cyfr brings some Changeling spirit in yet new sick musical ways! With a sound design delightfully fitting to the Changelings, and bug-like fast percussions, it definitely makes for yet another amazing anthem!
UndreamedPanic – That’s A Flutterbat | Bass House
UndreamedPanic is back in full force, with a tasty Bass House track full of batty wonders! Epicly adding fire to the Flutterbat scene, it brings a solid progression, sick drops, and amazing Flutterchops!! Those at 1:50 are actually, as stated by the musician, Fluttershy saying “Honey” with vocal pitching to the melody, and it’s so very unique and expertly done! Definitely a powerful release!
StrachAttack – SHAPESHFTR | Hybrid Glitch Hop
New Chrysalis-scented StrachAttack banger, everypony!! Second track of the recently released Burnout EP, this new VIP of the classic Shapeshifter deserved a labeling as an original, as it redesigns the whole track with new sound design and progression and comes up with original ways to blend genres, while keeping the melodies and original concept. Never has our bug queen sounded (and looked) so sexy! Also props for the amazing visuals!
Daniel Ingram – The Spectacle (Daydream Anatomy Remix) | Electro House
One of the musicians who were featured in the awesome compilation album No Fun Allowed from the /mlp/ board, Daydream Anatomy presents us a new remix of a show song, one that personally moved me a lot along with its episode : The Spectacle from The Mane Attraction. With high hopes of a second /mlp/ Plays album, I appreciate the nostalgic and emotional callback to the original with its melodies now accompanied by Electro House beats and bass, and piano breaks paying further tribute to them. Time for the show!
