Additive Subtractive has been around for quite a while. He specializes in top-tier happy hardcore. This remix of sci’s great work “smiles n’ balloons” channels that energy. Pinkie samples and high-pitched, bright synths are set to a speeding beat here, in this teaser for Bronycon!

NeoN – The Horse Within Us | Album | Electronic
NeoN comes back with this short album which, as he says in thebandcamp description, is something different and really shows the experimental capacity of NeoN. This album is mostly based upon what NeoN says to be the “The Beginning of the End” – the beginning of leaving the brony music scene and the starting of producing more non-pony music.
Although the theme (just check the full description, for not getting angry with NeoN), the production and the music that is on the album is pretty good. Many of the tracks present on the album have guitar riffs that are very pleasing, also with the future influences that are pretty awesome. The full album is very atmospheric! I really like it!
You can get “The Horse Within Us” on NeoN’s bandcamp page for any given price.
DJT & R3CTIFIER – Besties | Future Bass
Another great song from Friends EP. DJT and R3CTIFIER team up for an amazing future bass track with melodies and catchy beats galore! What make it cuter is the samples of ponies that’s included within! It is one that’s definitely sure to keep you movin’ and will always manage to remind you of the best friends that you have now!
Daniel Ingram – Dance Magic (Faulty & bank pain Remix) | House
Boom! Another great remix from the EQG world, and it’s by Faulty and bank pain. These two give a heartfelt array of beautiful chords and melodies that you’ll never forget. Happiness is exactly what they serve to your ears, and best of all, they are absolutely amazing together and one of the greatest remixes of this song so far! You won’t regret listening to this one!
Sonic Rainboom – All of It | Psytrance
Get ready, because this is an eight minute epic. Sonic Rainboom delivers a good array of sounds, melodies, all for the rebellious Queen Chrysalis. Almost apt enough for a BGM for an actual action game. Check it out for awesome sounds of battle!
[HMC] アイスベア – Celestial Onslaught | Breakcore
Ice Bear’s breakcore is a tour de force through Daybreaker’s world. Energetic beats, melodic synths, and lots of speed merge to create a panorama of sound. The softest effects, the bells and electric piano, are what complete the effect. Be sure and download the album, as it’s even more stunning in .flac.
Neon Lights – The Dark Queen (feat. Lunar Dance) | Hard Trancestep
I’ve been a fan of Lunar Dance for a long time, and I recently came across Neon Lights. They are both absolutely amazing, and this Nightmare Moon-themed collab combines both of their best talents in a unique, clever mishmash of sound. The pumping, four-on-the-floor beat is classic but strong, while the arpeggio’d synth in the drop is deliciously inventive.
Event HoriXZ0n – Find Your Better Self (VIP) | Complextro
Ten solid minutes of absolutely astonishing complextro, now THAT is a treat! And they’re from the musical breezie himself, Event HoriXZ0n!
Listening to this left me breathless at least half a dozen times. The vocals are bright and crisp, and the synths sizzle with energy. Every wub, kick, beep, clap, zap, and brrt is alight with the joy that gets a dance floor moving. Find Your Better Self is at home in a DJ set, a PMV, a gaming megamix, or just for its own sake!
fractilx – Unwithered | Chillstep
fractilx (alias of InklingBear) has created some smooth, wubbly chillstep for us all to enjoy. His delicious sound selection and mixing synthesize the atmosphere, while the synths themselves are pluck-y and gentle. The drop manages to be both relaxing and invigorating simultaneously, by pairing excellent wubs with those eye-drooping synths. All throughout, the song keeps a singular style and never breaks from it. Enjoyable at any time of day!
[ASOS] Ponytronic – Memories | Future Bass
Tronic’s got an interesting take on future bass here with his feature on Lollipop. His sound design especially constantly seems to be a standout feature in his music – not even in the usual sense of bass sounds, but generally the melodic elements that fill the soundscape.
