Osoch – Flawless (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Alternative Metal / Metalcore

The recent song from the 14th episode of the Season 7 has inspired a lot of musicians to make remixes and covers. And Osoch is one of that musicians! But why I’m happy about this cover? Because it’s a Heavy Metal cover! So up your irons and get your head ready for some headbanging and moshpits because we’re getting the Metal arena!

Osoch is one of the newest names in the brony metal scene, with only 4 recent songs (all covers, including this one), Osoch has the potential to become one of the hottest names in the brony metal/rock scene. And this cover really shows Osoch talent to re-imagine the song and make by his view!

The drums are really well performed, and that bass flip before the Rainbow Dash verse is really amazing! The guitar riffs performed reminded me of the Modern Metal acts and some of the modern Metalcore acts such as Three Days Grace, Killswitch Engage, Parkway Drive, Flaw (I’m not kidding here, Flaw is a band) and actually when the symphonic elements of the original song combined with the guitar songs reminded me of Apocalyptica and Lacuna Coil! The philter and the reverb used in Pinkie Pie’s vocals is also very well done and then the headbanging and smashing guitar solo makes everything awesome and cooler! And then you realize that it’s the end of the song and you wanted more. Extended versions for this covers are really requested? If they aren’t, it should be requested!

Also this song is available on Rock Farm! The Cider Party for Rock, Metal, Punk, Jazz, Blues and Folk pony songs!

[LDB] Dashtortion – 15 Years (feat. Sable Symphony) | Melodic Metalcore

Coming from the hottest compilation album right now: Lycan Dese Beats 3 we have this rocking track about the fanfiction My Little Dashie done by the supergroup composed by StealingShadez and SlightlyAmiss, featuring the screaming capacity of Sable Symphony (previously MetalPony).

This track has really a Bullet From My Valentine feeling, the guitar riffs done by Slightly, the clean vocals done by Shadez and the harsh one done by Sable, everything has a BFMV feel. This is really good, I recommend if you are fan of Melodic Metalcore acts that mixes clean with harsh vocals!

Download or buy Lycan Dese Beats 3 in a bandcamp near your seat.

Frozen Night – Fallen Star | Atmospheric Black Metal

Whoa! This is really some big atmospheric feelings! Frozen Night release a new track, and this time is some shoegaze/black metal experiment! Reminders me of Summoning and Negură Bunget songs! The guitar riffs and the orchestral elements are well performed as well the mixing and mastering. Such an ethereal and amazing track! You should listen to it!

Narokath – Their Blackest Day | Thrash Metal

From the upcoming album Dead Wings of Grace that is about an alternate universe Spike, Narokath releases this 12 minutes long track that has two parts. Laura that is the most chill part with great guitar riffs and with a lot of progression, reminding me of …And Justice For All by Metallica, with some main melody from the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack, it gives to the track the atmospheric feeling. Then comes the second part aka Annihilate that is a ponification of The Blackest Day by Annihilator. It starts with a lot of noise, a thing that I like in Thrash Metal, then the aggressive riffs of the guitar and the drums are played very well. And the rough vocals are the element that gives the headbanging and aggressive look to the track. All joined by an incredible mixing and mastering.

Brony Thrash Metal with Progressive elements that parodies Silent Hill 2 and Annihilator in the same track is a treasure. Listen to this song, the transition from Laura to Annihilate is very awesome.

Elias Frost – Dance Magic (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Metal

Elias Frost is back to some more show song covers, with a nice video of the performance like he normally has alongside them. This is a somewhat heavy cover of Dance Magic from the Equestria Girls specials, and he’s done a good job of maintaining the feel of the original whilst giving it some of his own twists as well. Check it out below!

The L-Train – Fashion Victim (feat. Elias Frost) | Industrial Metal

The sixth and last chapter of the “With Friends / About Friends” series, The L-Train here collaborates with Elias Frost for an amazing Rammstein-sounding tune about Rarity. The visuals were inspired from the last Rammstein album Liebe Ist Für Alle Da and Elias Frost’s vocals are so similar to Till Lindermann vocals, it’s really amazing! Imagine if Elias sung this tune in German? It would be a complete Neue Deutsche Härte piece! The industrial keyboard sounds, the guitar riffs, the drums and awesome vocals are on fire, just like the rest of the series! If you are into Rammstein, Oomph! or Eisbrecher you should really check out this song!

[P@D] Elias Frost – The Greatest Hero Of The World | Metal

Huzzah! We’ve got ourselves a nifty song about Spike, who’s obviously the purest and greatest dragon hero ever. It’s about time Spike got some more love from this fandom. With pretty solid guitar riffs and it’s awesome lyrics, it’s sure to keep you rocking your hooves off. If anything, I could totally see this as a great fit for a Guitar Hero game. Now go share some of your affection to the greatest hero of the world!

Sable Symphony – Trepidation | Electronicore

When Sable Symphony (formerly MetalPony) is trying his hoof at Electronicore / Trancecore, and when it’s for a deep track focusing on Starlight’s character depth, you can be sure the result will have many wonders and be quite enjoyable! Overreaching all expectations, the musician comes up with a progressive piece where the musical inspirations are making for amazing experimentations, and where pony feelings and reactions to S07E10 A Royal Problem are giving life to an awesome tribute to our beloved Starlight, who definitely harnessed a lot of fans by showing her emotions and relatable weaknesses so earnestly inside that dream. A masterpiece of a track blending musical genres!
