All the money raised from this album will be donated to Save the Children (specifically the Australian branch), an international charity that promotes children’s rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries.

GhostXb experiments with new techniques to create a truly moving piece, using unpredictable instrumentation and subtle dissonance to maintain a well-controlled chaotic, yet calming feel. Short yet sweet like candy, this is GhostXb’s take at Electro Swing as part of A State of Sugar Candy, aptly themed around Pinkie Pie. It’s true that she’s the perfect pony for the genre, not just by reminiscence of such community classics as Gypsy Bard, but also because the uplifting and rich flavor of the genre is reflecting Pinkie’s personality. Through the groovy rythm, and the many instruments enacting their energetic melodies, this track is playing an ode to life, sweet things, and Pinkie’s perspective!
Spiral Harmonies aka KC Guzman delivers a stunning cover of the movie’s Time To Be Awesome, and it’s time to let that free spirit arise again in a brand new Orchestral arrangement! Percussions, strings, winds, and even bagpipes are present to pay tribute to the original song and Rainbow Dash’s role in the movie!
Rarity Advocate is back with a new piece of many wonders, and this sonata in three movements is covering various well-known songs and BGMs from the show. First are the classic melodies of Hush Now Lullaby from S01E17 Stare Master. Then the bliss of Luna’s gorgeous Night takes us away, as William Anderson’s Luna’s Theme gets covered in a beautiful way in the second movement. The last movement is a free improvisation on the Theme Song, and there couldn’t be a better finale!

BlueBrony always makes awesome unique interpretations of recent episodes, and this one about Pharynx is excellently done. A bit of 90’s style rapping with a funky beat helps tell a humorous story from the changeling’s perspective and the vocals are just the right amount of cheesy throughout, with some clever lyrics too.

A haunting beginning to this track from Alexey Kotlyar sets the scene with some ambient sounds and the crow of ravens before spooky strings start to play an eerie waltz. A bit of a character piece, this definitely has a defined dark atmosphere throughout, and makes great use of foreboding yet playful melodies.
Certainly another token of Vylet’s talent and progress as a musician, In A Rush is a meaningful tune with quite the backstory (read the description). The song brings forward blissful and gorgeous vocals, with an equally beautiful instrumental of many influences. The clean and indie percussions are reminding of Two Door Cinema Club’s take at Indie Rock, while Electronic flavors are definitely present as well. An all-around masterpiece!
