Even if you can’t play an instrument, it doesn’t mean that you can’t pay tribute to MLP with your singing skills! Using an instrumental from Lucas King, the lovely singer and voice actress Ice Gaze delivers a moving tribute to Moondancer’s character depth and how she felt when Twilight didn’t come at her birthday party. Get ready for gorgeous vocals and pony feelings!
A definitely very promising Orchestral pony musician, Alexey Kotlyar delights us with a 7-minutes progressive piece retelling in epic musical ways the action of a battlefield. Portraying a Changeling invasion, it ends with gorgeous choruses announcing a new Dawn, and A New Beginning. Also check out the very OST-like A Stroll in the Woods from the same musician!
We don’t often get Electro Swing in the community, and it’s such a shame considering the bliss of the genre! BlueBrony got us covered though, and here’s one elegant and cool piece delivering the musician’s take on the genre with all the jazzy instruments and melodies! Imagining that this could be the result of Vinyl and Octavia’s combined efforts and passion, feels awesome too!
Here’s an honest, passionate, and totally magical cover of our beloved Theme Song by Evdog. With guitar in hands, he went to pay tribute to the show with his heartfelt vocals conveying the values we were all taught. Truly a wonderful cover and tribute, and a proof that no matter how many years pass, some things will never change.
Honing his vocal skills into shining diamonds, 4EverfreeBrony never stopped reaching out to his true potential, and this new release is quite the gem. Perhaps fitting to a certain scene in the recent S07E06 Forever Filly, this sweet love song toward Rarity has got very Rarity-sounding melodies and synths accompanied by soft guitar and drums, and quite impressive vocals. Rarity is such a wonderful and lovely pony, and she definitely deserves this!
Brace yourselves for this everypony!! Mane In Green truly outdid himself with this one long progressive track infused with a story and delivering a variety of genres to create an epic musical Journey. It has many different instrumental parts reflecting perfectly each part of the story, with fitting instruments and rythm, and telling the story that’s written in the description so well. Over its breathtaking progression, the track will blow you away with epic melodies, guitar riffs, and fusions of genres all around, with Orchestral, Metal, Folk, and even Electronic all finding a share. Overall, The Journey is a masterpiece of story-driven, OST-like music, as well as a token of Mane In Green’s wonderful talent and vision, that will, I’m sure, continue to delight us in the future. I’m getting teary-eyed while relistening to the track and writing this, and I can’t thank Mane In Green enough for his magnificent work and how accurately it blissfully feels like Soundtrack. Long live OST, music, and Passion!
Now here’s something that I love to see and that is so very lovely. With expert hands, LuRhythmic did a Piano improv using chords from the famous Awoken by Glaze aka WoodenToaster and H8_Seed, resulting in a blissful Jazz-y track that would fit so well as a BGM in some chill night bar. Also check out the Piano improv of Nightmare Night, the Bebop Jazz cover of Bats, and the Big Band Jazz cover of Rainbow Factory! They are all awesome and rare gems!
ThisSideOfOblivion presents us a remix of a classic from 2013, Open Your Eyes from Aviators. With a solid rearrangement bringing drums, strings, and even delightful sax, it doesn’t fail to pay tribute to the original in a chill yet intricate way!
Frozen Night presents us a forest map BGM from a never-released pony fan game and from 2013, and it has those delightful “wooden” plucks and such choices of instruments that are so reminding of many forest map BGMs I’ve heard in my J-RPGs. There is also another field BGM from the musician that comes along it, and it’s for the Crystal Empire, check it out!
