Ponycide makes a big announcement with the upload of this latest orchestral track: from now on he will be continuing his musical endeavors in collaboration with one of his friends and the name of their project has been changed to reflect that direction. Aptly titled, this is the first track created between the two. Very excited to see where they continue to go with their grand compositions.

MeetSouder – Scarlet’s Theme | Orchestral
Those familiar with J-RPGs (Japanese Role Playing Games) and their OSTs (Original SoundTracks) will certainly feel at home while listening to MeetSouder’s latest track from his series about Tales of Transylvania, an original story and fanfiction written by himself. Much reminiscing of Final Fantasy 9’s Dissipating Sorrow, this character theme for Scarlet still provides a unique twist and progression, served as always with an harmonic taste in composition and orchestration.
Jyc Row – War Wounds | Orchestral
A sequel of sorts to his song Multiverse War, Jyc Row brings us an epic orchestral song infused with electronic elements, inspired by the season 5 finale. Epic song for an epic episode, what more could you ask for?
LightningStables – Let It Go | Soft Rock
Ponified covers of Disney songs tend to be rather hit or miss with me, but this one very much hit! Check out LightningStables’ rendition of the Frozen classic Let It Go.
WoodenToaster – Rainbow Factory (Aurelleah Remix) | Orchestral Dubstep
It’s been a while since I last saw a Rainbow Factory remix, but bringing their own rendition of it (admittedly a couple of years late to the party) is Aurelleah. Combining his renowned orchestral composition with dubstep beats and growls, this remix is both hard hitting and melodically sound!
Ponycide – Sunrise | Orchestral
Good morning! Looks like we’re starting off the day right with some top-shelf orchestral work from Ponycide. At the heart of the track is a surprisingly bold and dramatic rhythm that creates a very unique atmosphere when further accentuated by instrumentation that is… I’d go so far as to say aggressive in its delivery. The larger part of the composition is bright and uplifting, yet the sharpness of the drum hits and the punctuating stabs of flute invoke feelings of urgency- not just the grand display of power I typically hear- but perhaps the rising awareness of imminent conflict and the resulting anxiety crashing against the shores of a mind steeling itself in preparation to shoulder the challenges brought forth by a new day. Truly a lovely piece.
