Valesi – Winter Village | Piano Solo

It seems more and more fandom musicians have been returning from long breaks these days. This time it’s Valesi, who’s just uploaded a soft piano track inspired by an Equestrian winter. Their first upload in three years as well as their first MLP-related track since 2015 (!!!), it comprises of a solo piano that cycles through a handful of motifs that all seem to give off the feeling of walking through a cold, yet homely path. It’s amazing what you can do with just a piano to carry a tune.

Bitl, Choruscation & Heartsong – Rising Dawn | Album | Orchestral

In the memory of Stormfall Drizzle, Bitl, Choruscation and Heartsong crafted heartfelt tributes in the way of deep and meaningful Orchestral beauties. The very emotional Stormfall’s Lullaby, Nimbus acting like a perfect requiem, the progressive and melodic masterpiece Stormfall from Heartsong that incidentally yet fittingly calls back to the melody from Skyrim’s main theme, and the collab Sisters Forever that includes quotes of great life advice from Stormfall, are all paying much tribute to our late friend and showing once more the big heart of our community. The album is available on Bandcamp here! Also check out the B-Sides!

[ASOS] Night Blaze – Elements of Symphony | Orchestra

Night Blaze returns with their contribution to ASOS: Waffle – track 38 and the album’s closing track – Elements of Symphony. It’s an orchestral number that feels hopeful, steady and calming. While there’s only a small ensemble of a piano, strings and the odd percussion, the track feels full and beautiful. An absolutely wonderful way to close off an already brilliant album!

Mane In Green – Clouds of Purification | Orchestral

There is much emotion in this new release from Mane In Green, from getting ready to perform a Deep Dive, to conducting the ritual in the clouds, explained in the description! Much lore and pony feelings in Clouds of Purification indeed, and with such a breathtaking progression too! Getting a new amazing piece from Mane In Green so soon after Summer Ends, feels like Christmas in September! And as always, the lovely cover art to illustrate the concept, was drawn by Mane himself!

Toby Macarony – Surprise | Electronica

It was only a matter of time before Surprise would get her very own song, right? Fitting title too; it starts off with a beautiful orchestral and choral arrangement before suddenly jumping into an upbeat and bouncy tune with organs and piano sounds, as well as Toby’s signature synthetic style! Much like his last tune, it looks like Surprise is also eager to enter a staring contest, so good luck!

Mane In Green – Summer Ends | Orchestral

Our beloved fluffy pegasus is back with a new marvelous composition just before diving into studies again, and you can just feel the expression of tender feelings and the longing toward beautiful memories, in this composition full of energy and emotion! Heavenly melodies on varied instruments are soothing the soul of the hard worker, and in harmony we unite through the music!

Night Blaze – Change | Orchestral

Night Blaze is a gem. This track is an orchestral piece themed around the changelings and their ill-documented history, and the mood of the song definitely reflects upon this with its drawn out string melodies and brooding percussion that give the feeling of confidence, but also anxiety. I leave you with one question: which changeling form came first, their dark side, or their “reformed” side?

Miles Kintner – She Who Brings The Night | Orchestral

Miles Kintner keeps bringing the goods, slowly but surely. This time, it’s a newer version of his piano tribute to Princess Luna from 2017, this time with a fully orchestral arrangement. All the new instruments accompanying the piano only serve to make an already beautiful piece even more full and beautiful, almost as much as the princess of the night herself.

Frozen Night – Equilibrium | Orchestral

Frozen Night is easily one of the fandom’s leading heroes when it comes to orchestral music, and this song is a prime example as to why that is. This beautiful piece has two halves; the first one is a slow and beautiful motif, but halfway through, it quickly builds up into an epic section with fast percussion and driving string instruments. While the two sections are almost night and day with their pace, they fit so well together that the sudden transition doesn’t feel jarring. This will be a part of Frozen’s upcoming album scheduled for release in November, so look out for that!
