I appreciate fan songs like these so much, responding to certain characters’ depth and story! Neu KatalYst did amazing on the vocals, instrumental, and concept for this Ocellus-themed masterpiece that definitely has a lot of emotion. Through the deep bass, gorgeous melodies, bright vocals and thoughtful lyrics, experience what the musician and fellow brony has thought about Ocellus’ story!

[P@D] Hay Tea – Tea Hugger | Liquid Drum & Bass
When it comes to character-themed songs. One of the best things you can do is make something relatable to them. Hay Tea then brings something like this!. Our first preview song of P@D Eternal. We get into the vibe of Tree Hugger. This song has very fast, but very smooth exotic melodies. It has all the quick composition of Drum and Bass is expected of. Will you be sitting trying to find your inner zen? Or will you be up and swaying yourself around enjoying your journey of finding your inner harmony. This Qilin invites you to decide for yourself.
Nyancat380 – Afterparty | Deathstep
Nyancat380 knows their stuff when it comes to atmosphere. We’ve got ourselves a unique blend of genres with this track, which is also track 12 and the last on their newly released album Fokin’ Days. It starts out with a creepy sounding music box intro before quickly transitioning into a heavy rock instrumental reminiscent of System of a Down, which is then followed by a quick trap breakdown and then the dubstep. A unique combination, that’s for sure, but it all comes together well in this brilliant deathstep number.
Ocean Melody – Between Dusk and Dawn | Orchestral
This calming, elegant and delightful track contains a colorful array of sounds and melodies, from piano, to drums, to strings, to entire instrumental segments that give the track energy and grace. All of these things blend together to make an amazing symphony of music!
Power Note – Blood Pony 2019 | Synthwave
We can always count on Lorris/Power Note to bring those tasty Big Fat Pony Donuts, am I right? The batponies are invading the stage for this re-imagining of Blood Pony, complete with renewed signature Synthwave elements of pure beauty and bliss, and cute melodies reflecting the appeal of the batponies so well. A lovely release for sure!
[P@D] Dijit – Pink Fuzz | Electro House
The first of the pre-releases from P@D Eternal, this new masterpiece from Dijit is already blowing us away and showing the kind of quality to expect from the newest entry in the compilation albums series! Deep bass, refined synths, and a rich composition are certainly displaying Dijit’s talent once again! A very hype track, getting you excited about the upcoming album release on October 5th even more!
[Helpie’s Corner] Tw3Lv3 – Hooves | Hardstyle
Like Tw3Lv3’s other tracks, this song does not disappoint in providing an incredible listening experience! This track in particular, featured on the upcoming album “The Other Side of The Mirror,” is a five-minute non-stop electronic/hardstyle epic, complete with a few base drops, that’s really fun to listen to.
Editor’s note: Also check out the upload of this song on the Helpie’s Corner YouTube channel here!
[ASOS] Zizkil – Dead Nostalgia | Complextro
Is there anything Zizkil’s not good at? Track 12 on ASOS: Waffle, this is one of two tracks by them (the other being their collaboration VIP with Cynifree). It showcases Zizkil’s signature electronic style super well, with funky basslines, heavy, dynamic and bouncy synths, along with unique percussion sounds. Short but sweet, it’s definitely a good fit in the ASOS catalog!
Vylet Pony (feat. 4everfreebrony – Every Dream | Pop
This is a dream collaboration. Track 17 from Love Letters: Colourless, this slow track takes clear influence from ballads from the 80s. Joining Vylet is the incredible 4everfreebrony on vocals, completing this already great piece with a duet between the two and finishing up with an emotional guitar solo. Easily one of the best tracks on the whole album!
Rusty Thorsell – Forevermore | Indie Pop
This month’s proved to be full of emotional venting songs, which makes sense considering it’s just under three weeks until the very last episodes of MLP:FiM air. In that spirit, Rusty’s back yet again with his usual unique electronic fare. His passionate voice cuts through the song with power as he sings about how the show brings him energy and happiness, a message that I think most of us can relate to. As the song extends, it slowly twists into a chaotic mess before getting back on track and building up to the powerful climax. Don’t sleep on this one!
