Going for a change of pace and genre, Elias delivers an Orchestral piece this time, centered around Daring Do. The intensity and progression of the piece do match your average Daring Do adventure with lots of epic moments, but also with moments of respite where you look back at the path traveled, all while looking forward to the next adventure! And that’s what you could imagine during the grand finale of the song.
Original
Ocean Melody – Peaceful Sanctuary | Orchestral
Beautifully matching the magnificent cover art by John Joseco, Peaceful Sanctuary is Ocean Melody’s musical interpretation of such a place. Soft and regal wind instruments are painting the gorgeous scenery, while strings are adding a rise of emotion. A much relaxing tune indeed!
One Track Mind – Happy Warming Hearth | Experimental
Courtesy of noise.horse, here’s One Track Mind‘s musical take at Hearth’s Warming. The story behind this track is just as mad as what the music suggests, and it is with great delight that we experience an alternative ending of S06E08 A Hearth’s Warming Tale, with Castlevania-ish melodies and chiptune sounds in pure One Track Mind style, and of course vocal samples from the episode!
Vecodex – Gramophone Party | Future House
To our great delight, Vecodex reawakens Pinkie’s gramophone parties from S1 in musical format! Going for a “Future Horse” approach, this funky and stylish tune does sound like something Pinkie would play at the party, with crafty melodies and sick beats! Also check out Vecodex’s latest track Ponybass!
Homage – Foreign Relations | Glitch-Hop
Homage is back in full force and first up is an inspired Dubstep tune themed around Saddle Arabia, and that can definitely be heard throughout the song! Eastern melodies are accompanying the wubs and the beats for a tasty result. If this is how Foreign Relations sound like, then I assume they must be very successful!
Note: Since the original video got deleted, you may find the MP3 file of the song here.
Damien Nagy – Thème de Luna (Luna’s Theme) | Orchestral
In this wonderful orchestral symphony, Damien Nagy perfectly evokes Luna’s beautiful night. Piano, string, and soft choir are all awash in resplendent glory. Fit to be a game’s soundtrack, or even background music for the show itself, this is a truly wonderful song.
Editor’s note: Damien’s MP3 saga that this OST track is for, Erebys, has now its trailer and prologue available with English subtitles! And the episodes will be translated as well, so get hype!
Jupiter Maroon – Digital Murder | Synthpop / Brostep
A fantastic and wubby track done by our friend Jupiter Maroon, the mix of the synthpoppy elements with the wubby elements make this track a treat for 2018! A track full of energy and which has a lot of danceable moments! Keep up the good work Jupiter, we appreciate it!
Alexey Kotlyar – Cherry In Bloom | Piano Solo
Uau! This is really fascinating, a celestial piano composition, that have the amazing uplifting elements. A astronomical experience, a thing that needs more listening because this is just perfect! From deep of my heart, that it’s hollow and cold, this piece of piano composition fill my heart until the end! A pleasuring experience not for only piano songs appreciators, but for every music appreciator. Alexey, you just gained one more follower! This is just so special and so amazing. Good job and keep it up! Looking forward for more pieces like this!
Vylet Pony – That Feeling I Get in my Heart (feat. Namii) | Chillout
This super consoling single comes from Vylet Pony‘s new album, Tales from Equestria. That Feeling I Get in my Heart utilizes a very creative array of instrumentation including toy-box style bells and a melodica mixed in with more conventional strings and a fascinating use of background noise for ambience. Namii adds her soothing vocals towards the end for context, singing about that moment after an adventure where you must part ways with your partner. Vylet really captures the reassuring feeling captured from a somber moment with this track.
The Ponytones – Poison Joke | Classic Rock
The highly-awaited new release of our beloved pony band The Ponytones is finally here! This time it’s a ponification of Jimi Hendrix, and the Classic Rock vibes are as strong as ever. While Zecora’s warning voice from S01E09 Bridle Gossip resonates throughout the song, lovely and clever pony lyrics sung by our own zebra Wootmaster are paying much tribute to the episode. At the same time, Jame’s incredible guitar play is paying much tribute to Hendrix and the crazy solos he’s known for! Top-notch bass by Sky and drums by Wootmaster are completing the frame for a stunning result that will forever remain gold. Check out The Ponytones’ official Discord server for behind-the-scenes and a wonderful place full of passionate people!
