Morrie – Pinkie’s Present (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Indie Pop

A Little Bit for Charity presents us a new release, bringing all the cute! This excellent cover of Pinkie’s Present from A Hearth’s Warming Tale not only delights with a solid, re-imagined instrumental paying much tribute to the original, but also surprises with incredibly cute vocals!! I’m sure Pinkie would approve.

MintFritter – Through The Space | Electro-Pop

Enter MintFritter, a pony musician that went under my radar for a while, but who is definitely very promising! Through The Space is a very cute song that delightfully shows the great potential from the artist, as cuddly instrumental and vocals unfold to pay tribute to Derpy and Dr Whooves in the most mellow ways. Don’t forget to sub to the MintFritter to show your support!

Various Artists – JapanPonyParty! Vol.3 | Album | Multi-Genre

We completely missed this when it first released back in May, but thanks to someone sending it in to us, we’re able to share it with you today! This compilation album featuring artists from the Japanese fandom scene was released at Japan Ponycon in May earlier this year. It features some names you might recognise (e.g. Oodoratoo2, delfino), but also has a wide variety of other artists you may never have heard of, and a huge range of genres too! The above video contains previews of each track, and the album itself can be downloaded from JPP’s website for free!

SophiiVA – Nightmares (Sasha Lace Remix) [ft. GhostXb & Carret Top] | Orchestral Pop

Just over a year ago SophiiVA released her first original pony song, an awesome acoustic piece based on Do Princesses Dream of Magical Sheep? called Nightmares. This version from Sasha Lace and friends had been in the works for over a year and it’s a delight to finally see it released. It has all the makings of a pop ballad set to a full orchestra, and Sophii’s vocals are to die for; definitely one of my favourites so far this month!

Sonic Rainboom – The Fuck-Up (feat. Francis Vace) | Industrial Pop

Sonic Rainboom teams up with the vocal talents of Francis Vace to deliver a powerful piece of music about the deep inner feelings of Trixie. In fact, in the description of the track SR goes into quite deep detail about his feelings behind Trixie’s behaviour. The way the main part of the song comes in is just raw power, and this track is one of SR’s best in my opinion.

[KM] Acouste Wholenote – Greater Things | Pop-Rock

Another absolute gem from the King Mars Tribute Album, this time in the form of a pop-rock song about Applebloom. Upbeat rhythm – check. Great lyrics with a memorable title line – check. Guitar solo – check. More 90s vibes than Friends re-runs, check! A great song by all means.

Rusty Thorsell – Best Day | Indie Pop

Rusty never fails to bring to life unique and happy melodic bliss and this song especially feels like a musical embodiment of raw positivity to me. An original and beautiful instrumental, and cute vocals that make you want to prance around in a grassy meadow holding balloons, give to this song its unique charm.

The Shake Ups In Ponyville – Baking With Gummy | Power Pop

Released in time for the celebration of Andrea Libman’s birthday that is TODAY (July 19th), this Pinkie & Gummy duet from the album Rock Candy (that you can get as a physical CD) not only shines as a strong and happy Power Pop song much to the style of The Shake Ups, but also comes with a delightful music video that is sweet as honey and happy as a pink pony can be. It is sure to make you smile! Go give a smile back to the band with a comment, and go throw the best party ever for Andrea Libman, Pinkie’s voice actress! We love you Andrea, happy birthday and have a blast partying hard as a Pinkie, or soft as a Fluttershy!

Crusader! – Party of Two (Homage McGee Remix) | Pop / Chiptune

Have something that I have no idea how to label effectively! We saw Crusader’s Party of Two a few weeks ago, a cute song telling a love story about Pinkie. Now Homage McGee, who recently ended his previous absence from the brony music scene has made this poppy electronic remix of it with plenty of chiptune elements. Something pretty unique if you ask me!
