syzygy. continues his streak of brilliant remixes with his take on one of the more recent show songs—this time opting for a lush, supersaw-laden style. Between squishy leads and gated chords, this remix provides an all-new instrumental frame while keeping the vocal arrangement intact, thus departing from the traditional two-drop-structure we’ve all come to expect. Instead, all the transitions play off of the vocals wonderfully, and you’re rewarded with a sweet orchestral outro if you keep listening until the end. Complete with interesting bits and pieces of sound design throughout the entire track and a fair attention to detail, syzygy’s remix definitely gives the more popular remixes of Friends Are Always There For You a run for their money.

StrachAttack – Black Magic VIP ft. NekoWolf (Silver Fenix Remix) | Trap
We’re a little late with this one, but it’s still great to see some new faces in the music scene. Having been a brony for several years and now with a couple of years practice in production under his belt, Silver Fenix is beginning to release his own pony music, starting with this remix of Strach’s Black Magic VIP. I’m sure it would have found its way onto Strach’s remix EP from a while back had it been released sooner, but there’ll be plenty more opportunities for us to see Silver Fenix’s work featured in the future. This track from Amity sure made the live release party go crazy! Using past P@D songs and blasting from Vinyl’s mighty bass canon for the occasion, it creates drops of multiplied intensity, with Nowacking as Vinyl Scratch uplifting the mood some more. A masterpiece of a mashup!
Daniel Ingram – Hearts as Strong as Horses (ApostropheShy Remix) | Dubstep
Heartfelt remixes and tributes definitely galore in the pony music community recently!! Brace yourself for the emotion everypony, as ApostropheShy presents us a remix of their favorite show song, the already very emotional Hearts as Strong as Horses. This remix certainly brings even more feels as the CMC vocals get sublimated in masterful vocal chops along a very MLP-ish instrumental, that I could easily label “Pony Dubstep”. It has a certain sweet and cuddly vibe to it, full of love and triggering powerful emotion so easily, and definitely in line with ApostropheShy’s musical style that ravished us with all their works. A remix that is shining bright from the power of Passion and Friendship!
Glaze – Rainbow Factory (Einarx Remix) | Dubstep
It’s always so very welcome to get a remix that is very meaningful to the remixer for personal reasons, it’s like an additional layer of emotion and appreciation can be felt through that awareness! That, added to Einarx’s masterful take on the classic from Glaze (aka Wooden Toaster) in such a beloved unique Dubstep style, truly makes this piece stand out from the other remixes.
Mantlegen – Reconstruction (Einarx Devastate EP Mashup) | Dubstep
Emotional heavy electronic mashup masterpiece ahead, everypony! Available on the Magnus Festa Vol.2 album, it samples tracks from Einarx‘s awesome Devastate EP, to create an original mashup of many wonders. Quite intense, it re-sublimates the pony vocal chops and even Chrysalis’ voice, as well as many instrumental parts from Einarx’s heavy bangers. The result is nothing short of breathtaking and doesn’t fail to trigger powerful emotions too as we witness the power of music, Passion and ponies once more.

A new lovely piece from Mane In Green, this remix of Babs Seed is spreading much positive vibes from its instrumental, and it even includes guitar parts for a quite original blending of styles! Onward to rediscover the MLP classic with the CMC and Mane In Green!
Aurelleah & Kadenza ft. PegasYs – Firelight (AJ Young Remix) | Future Bass

Firelight was a pretty awesome collaboration between Aurelleah and Kadenza, so it’s cool to see AJ Young giving it a remix. PegasYs‘ voice works just as well here as it did in the original, with a sort of trap-style build up going into synth-led drop that nonetheless has some appreciable bass presence. Whilst it doesn’t diverge a whole lot from the original in overall atmosphere, the slightly different pacing and future bass feel to it is pretty cool.
Hay Tea – Shades Of Pink (PhonicB∞m Remix) | Dubstep

This piece is heavier, with Phonic throwing some pretty cool heavy drops together alongside great use of Pinkie Pie vocal samples throughout the piece that help to give it an interesting flavour.
