Yo! Time to dig in to another incredible track from Quicksilver. I try to give tracks time to settle before throwing them on the scales, but this might be his best work yet. Just beautiful execution of everything across the board- this is going to be stuck in my head all day. If you’re not already, hit that subscribe button so you don’t miss out on some of the highest caliber punk that we’ve got!
Rock
Prince Whateverer – Constellations (Aaron MacAllister Cover) | Electronicore
Got a debut track here from guitarist Aaron MacAllister performing an instrumental cover of PrinceWhateverer’s classic. If you’re looking to learn the ropes of composition, covers and remixes are always a good start.
Zatslol – A Thousand Melodies | Soft Rock
Zatslol has produced some pretty awesome fandom tunes in the past, but his time with ponies seems to have finally run its course. The lyricism behind this track is really quite beautiful, singing about some stuff that I’m sure a lot of us musicians can relate to. If you want to support Zatslol’s last pony music hurrah, make sure to check out this and the other songs available in his Songs From Equestria EP on bandcamp.
Francis Vace – Fruits Of Her Labour (feat. PegasYs) | Ska
Another track from Vace’s Souvenirs album, this cover nicely re-imagines the work originally done by Glaze and StormWolf and features the awesome vocal talent of PegasYs. Check out the rest of the album if you’d like to hear more covers of some of the community’s early classics.
Soul Strings – Patchwork (Kaleidoscopic Act) | Progressive Metal
Nothing like a bit of metal to start off your day, eh? Soul “Dream Explorer” Strings (because two names are better than one!) has a new instrumental metal track entitled Patchwork, so called because it consists of many parts. It’s a really interesting piece that keeps changing tempo, key and time signature!
Luna Jax – Maybe That’s Just What I Need | Soft Rock
Luna Jax’s voice is always a delight to my ears, and this song is no exception. Heartfelt lyrics that tell a story involving Dashie and Gilda, beautiful harmonies, and a great instrumental backing it up; and it was written for FAWM, so hopefully there’ll be a few more songs to come 😉
Throwback Thursday | Kreühn Pöny | Artist Spotlight

You may or may not have heard of this musician, they were one of the more, shall we say, elusive members of the fandom. Kreühn Pöny specialised in jazzy stuff; songs with odd time signatures and irregular beat patterns. You know, a similar feel that of SoGreatandPowerful’s music (which is a completely different kettle of fish that we’ll revisit another time!). So without further ado, let’s get to his small yet brilliant discography! Catch it all after the break…
Dragonal – I Stand Alone (Remaster) | Metal
Dragonal is a somewhat new Australian metal musician, whose style reminds me more than a little bit of Prince Whateverer’s early forays in the fandom. Needless to say, this remaster of one of his first brony tunes is well worth a listen, and Dragonal is definitely one to watch out for.
Horse Music Hotspot – February 2016
In case you missed our new show on Sunday, we’ve uploaded it to YouTube! It airs on the last Sunday of every month at 10pm EST on Ponyville FM, but if you miss it, we’ll upload future episodes in the following days too!
Metal Core Pony – We Are Bronies (Remake) | Metalcore
Metal Core Pony is back after a few months’ absence (the art of rawring takes time!) with a remake of one of his older tracks from nearly 4 years ago! Check it out for fandom pride, heavy guitars, and teenage angst (jk, sorry MCP <3).
