The closing song (and one of my favourites) from his album Lost in a Pastel Hue, this song also features on Opalescence. I have to admit, I didn’t realise the meaning behind the lyrics until this video was released. Just goes to show effective subtlety is when writing music about colourful pastel horses.

Horse Friends – Opalescence | Charity album to support TheLostNarrator released
Hey everyone. So, remember the announcement about that charity album we made a couple of days ago? Well it’s been finished and released! More details are on the Bandcamp page but basically, any funds needed to help TheLostNarrator will go to her surgery and medical fees, and anything raised past the $1,500 threshold will be given to a charity of her choice.
PrinceWhateverer – Not Letting Go (Francis Vace Cover) | Ska
Francis Vace has been on a binge of covering prominent songs from the earlier days of the fandom, and continuing that trend he brings us an upbeat ska cover of one of PrinceWhateverer’s track from early January, Not Letting Go. Unsurprisingly, it works great!
Quicksilver – Sleepless | Skacore
Yo! Time to dig in to another incredible track from Quicksilver. I try to give tracks time to settle before throwing them on the scales, but this might be his best work yet. Just beautiful execution of everything across the board- this is going to be stuck in my head all day. If you’re not already, hit that subscribe button so you don’t miss out on some of the highest caliber punk that we’ve got!
Francis Vace – Fruits Of Her Labour (feat. PegasYs) | Ska
Another track from Vace’s Souvenirs album, this cover nicely re-imagines the work originally done by Glaze and StormWolf and features the awesome vocal talent of PegasYs. Check out the rest of the album if you’d like to hear more covers of some of the community’s early classics.
Francis Vace – Pinkie’s Brew | Ska-Punk
As part of a new EP of classic fandom song covers, we have our own Francis Vace’s rendition of Pinkie’s Brew. Expect the usual ska-infused punk sound we’ve come to know and love from him!
Francis Vace – Discord | Ska-Punk
To celebrate 1k subscribers, our very own Francis Vace has done his own cover of Eurobeat Brony’s 2011 hit song “Discord”…in which the name Discord is never mentioned. Must be cursed or something like Voldemort…
Or maybe not. Either way, go get your fill of Ska-infused Punk!
Spectra’s Top 10 Pony Songs of 2015
Hey guys, Spectra here. So I decided to jump on the bandwagon and do one of these Top 10 lists, so after purging through my liked videos playlist altering my Top 25 of the year vote to avoid duplicates with the others from this site, I narrowed it down to these 10. Again, they’re not in any particular order, but the last two are kind of my two overall favourites. Catch them after the break!
Francis Vace – Forever For A Friend | Ska
Francis Vace “Ska Hors” returns with Forever A Friend! This track combines sweet guitars and Vace’s amazing vocals makes for a smooth, quality track you’d expect from him.
