Michael Picher – Ancient Archeology: A Daring Do Adventure | Orchestral

This moving, Egyptian piece draws on Daring Do’s many adventures and the score of “The Mummy” for inspiration. Haunting, eerie strings and light piano notes guide us through an ancient tomb filled with lost artifacts and deadly traps. The masterfully orchestrated music is well paired with a lovely bit of SFM work by Starstrike42896, in a sort of PMV style.

[ASOS] Ponytronic – Memories | Future Bass

Tronic’s got an interesting take on future bass here with his feature on Lollipop. His sound design especially constantly seems to be a standout feature in his music – not even in the usual sense of bass sounds, but generally the melodic elements that fill the soundscape.

[ASOS] Viricide Filly – Spearmint | Downtempo

Coming from the first compilation album of the A State of Sugar Crew: Lollipop, Viricide Filly creates an awesome and chill track that I can consider one of the best tracks from the album! The slow-tempo breaks, the pads and everything that Viricide did on this track turn out pretty amazing! One of the best, made by one of the best! I certainly recommend this track for you!

[PP] Violin Melody – f0x!n7h380x | Hardcore

Coming from the fifth Pinkamena Party project: INCOHESIVE HORSE ADESIVE. Violin Melody debuts in PP crew making one of the most kickass tracks that she ever did in her musical career.

Everything in this track is incredible, Violin did an awesome job and I love it! The kicks, the synths, the mastering and mixing, the beginning part and the somehow pleasuring change from the soft to the hard! This is a tune from the depths of Pinkamena Party! And the visuals of the song on Violin’s channel provided by her and ObscureDragon are pretty awesome and aggressive! (Also Violin says that this song has a secret, try to find it)

Download or buy (for a good cause) the fifth Pinkamena Party project: INCOHESIVE HORSE ADESIVE.

[ASOS] Metapony – Land Of The Rising Moon | House

Fresh from the new A State Of Sugar collective album Lollipop, Metapony delivers their classic house sound with what is still imo some of the cleanest mixing I’ve ever heard – and I’m not just talking about the fandom’s music! Apparently the first half of the track actually started as a remix of “Let The Sun Rise” by Morgsch and is meant to represent the day, while the second half of the track was made about Luna and is meant to depict a calm night. And so, with the balance of Sun and Moon, harmony is maintained in Equestria.

The L-Train – Fashion Victim (feat. Elias Frost) | Industrial Metal

The sixth and last chapter of the “With Friends / About Friends” series, The L-Train here collaborates with Elias Frost for an amazing Rammstein-sounding tune about Rarity. The visuals were inspired from the last Rammstein album Liebe Ist Für Alle Da and Elias Frost’s vocals are so similar to Till Lindermann vocals, it’s really amazing! Imagine if Elias sung this tune in German? It would be a complete Neue Deutsche Härte piece! The industrial keyboard sounds, the guitar riffs, the drums and awesome vocals are on fire, just like the rest of the series! If you are into Rammstein, Oomph! or Eisbrecher you should really check out this song!

[P@D] Pony Music – Solitude | Melodic Dubstep

With his trademark vocal chopping and unique electronic sounds, Pony Music makes a triumphant return! The drums on this piece are simple but strong, with the kick in particular standing out. Awestriking melodies and their accompanying vocals lead us through ever higher levels of energies. Then Pony Music brings it all crashing down with a wonderfully melodic, very wubby drop. Emotional on a level rare for dubstep, this song is a genuine delight to listen to.

Vylet Pony – World Adrift | Synthpop

Another little gem from Mystic Acoustics, this track follow’s Vylet’s synthpop(?) style that resembles certain Porter Robinson tracks (I don’t think I ever got off the Worlds hype train tbh). Be sure to check it out if you like that style, and ICYMI, the entire album review is here.

[ASOS] Lorris – Another Way | Chillout

A potent brew of strong bassline, lovely melody, and astonishing vocal chopping marks Lorris’s contribution to ASOS. Sweet, joyous, and kind, Another Way brims with emotion. Compositionally, it’s a masterpiece as well, with soft, smooth sounds and a very oldschool bassline.

[ASOS] Nevermourn – Nighttime Aria | Drum & Bass

Coming from one of the hottest albums of this year: Lollipop by the A State of Sugar Crew, there’s this track done by one of the upcoming Drum N Bass pony musicians: Nevermourn. And I must say, that this track is absolute fire! The vocal chops, the piano, the drums and the synths are absolute chilling and amazing! Adding that to the amazing “liquid” feeling that the track gives and the well done mastering and mixing helps a lot this track for becoming a great tune of ASoS!

Buy or download Lollipop, and give support to the upcoming brony artists!
