What a trio of musicians to tell the story of the day that Pinkie Pie gave into her insanity, Nightmare Night came with a blood red moon, and a curse fell over the ponies of Ponyville. Pinkie’s deep insanity is really brought out by the flow of this track. The dark sweetness of the start paints the picture of Pinkie in her home mentally breaking down until she slowly dives into the dark parts of her mind. After the first drop the horror begins as Pinkie reaches for her bloody toys and goes to see if the citizens of ponyville want to play twisted party games with her chainsaw or a game of pony roulette with her shotgun! This song just fits into the dark headcanon that deep inside Pinke is a twisted psycho. The back and forth of this track really fits into the theme of horror for ETC: Luna’s Nightmare Society! There is a very special place in my heart for musicians that just go the extra mile with their music. The effort, the passion, the hard work writing and composing this type of grand music. Soul Strings and his friends have done just that: a folk tale of a loving father and his filly daughter leaving what they knew to find a cure to the illness that’s slowly killing her. They travel to Equestria from leagues away from their homeland, in the hopes of getting to Canterlot and ask the royal sisters Celestia and Luna to save his daughter’s life with their legendary alicorn magic. With the journey comes how to tell that story with the glory of heavy metal!

[ASOS] Pony Killerz – Nightmare Moon | Complextro
Yet another great track from this amazing album!
We got more Nightmare Moon for ya bronies. To put it simply, this track feels like the very moment in the series premiere where she comes back and goes on a tear of chaos across Equestria before turning her attention on the mane 6. This track on ASOS: Chocolate puts what goes down musically; I mean, that mare of the moon just wants to play with her food. It’s just too bad her food was more than her tastes could handle. This track is just a banger that this mare would improve. As always, this Qilin asks for you to judge for yourself.
[P@D] Dropper Vampire & GrazySmash – Moon On Fire | Big Room House
This is WAR! Oh my, this track erupts from P@D: Eclipse with a showdown of solar fire and lunar energy. This track set the mood of finding out who is the more powerful sister, Nightmare Moon vs Daybreaker. Dropper and Grazy, with their combined talents, create this big feeling of godly fighting levels. Fitting for a big room house as this track tells the story of the sisters having a war while demonstrating their powers; the melodies do paint that picture with all the big energy drops and traveling melodies. It feels like you are watching this live on PPV with a video package, with these two evil alicorns just talking about how much they hate each other. There is such a prominent feeling of pure chaos and darkness as those drops, vocal chops and some orchestra elements do their stuff. This track is so explosive and these two sure got it right with these other two titans trying to fight and tear each other apart with their destructive powers! RUL – Together | Trance
We got another 10th anniversary FiM piece here, and oh boy, it’s a dance friendly one too! They say that the party never ends or that the train ride of this fandom keeps moving forward not knowing where it’s going to lead. The beat is very interesting as the melody goes through different kinds of beats, changing up the harmonics and elements as the dance fever goes up with each transition. It’s a really fun track yet from another DustCar comp! RuL, I agree with the comment section. You’re growing and making some waves! As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Sound Bandit – Pink Horse (feat. Nexgen & AnimatronicPony) | HyperPop
Oh, it’s Sound Bandit back with another DustCar entry, this time to the theme of Luster Dawn with brony hip hop vet Nexgen and even AnimatronicPony getting into the fun. The lyrics are random as Pinkie Pie herself, like she’s trying to decide where she’s going to pop out and freak a pony out. There is some trash talking about some opinions about the show all with a strange video with heat vision of them at a mall video arcade. The beat and rhymes are fun and distorted, and Sound Bandit once again has made yet another catchy rap tune that this fandom will more than likely get behind. Nyancat380 – I’ve found this song in my lost files folder… | Breakcore
Nyancat, I know you’re going to read this bro. Right off the bat, you are such a psycho with your music, dude! For everyone else who doesn’t know Nyancat, he is very unique with his product–yeah, I will just say that, ha ha! This song has Pinkie’s Wonderbolt rap mixed in with elements that seem fitting for what goes through miss Pie’s mind 24/7. Breakcore is all these things mixed together, and it sounds so over the top as if the Animaniacs put this song together. Mashcore is the way of making it all fit together and flow. This track goes wildly around that, and you really do think you are in the mind of Pinkie Pie, 100%. Honestly just listening to this music is very enjoyable. Radiarc – Reminisce | Orchestra
Long-time brony musician veteran Radiarc joins the party with another touching and pretty FiM 10th anniversary piece to add to the list of so many musicians releasing on this date. The message of this track plays on the mind. You are not what you once were when you entered this fandom. For me that is the real truth. This piece is just glorious with such soft piano, violin, and really nice choir vocals in the background. Clear your mind and think about your journey through this fandom and how those characters or the friends you’ve made in this fandom have changed you and help mold you. The melodies and harmonies of this piece will have you, for better or worse, looking back and smiling fondly at your journey to here. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Lord Sunfyre – Nothing’s Perfect (feat. GazPony & BreeBree) | Pop Punk
More Pony Life music! The track is brought to you by yet another brony punk rocker, Lord Sunfyre. They are joined by GazPony’s energetic vocals and mixed by Bree, and together they have created a track with some classic punk rock guitar and pace, and lyrics with a message to the fandom. Things are never perfect, nor is the show Pony Life, but the fandom can live on regardless. The vocals and the rockin’ instrumentation speed through this track with the same madcap energy of the show. The video itself has the nice touch of showing moments from all nine seasons of FiM, which is another strong reminder of why we are here. Give this dude some love! Okay, who let Trixie hog the VR headset?! Aside from the cute thumbnail art, this track sure sets the tone for the release of P@D Eclipse. At track 7, we get a song about a unicorn that loves her VR games a bit too much, and she’s dragging poor Starlight Glimmer along for the ride. (If Starlight got this for Trixie then I am sure she has buyer’s remorse right about now!) The music itself is full of classic 8-bit chiptune goodness and some deep, hard-hitting dubstep melodies that are sure to pull anypony into this adventure of platform gaming pony-style. Camelia has really stepped up with this extremely addicting arrangement. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself. Someone should tell Starlight that her magic would be more broken in a game world, heh…
