[ASoS] Night Blaze – Alicorn Commander | Orchestral

So, everypony, this is a song I actually wrote about in the All-Out Article about ASOS: Chocolate, which you can find here… But let’s not start rambling too much and get straight to the song!
The song starts out with strings and a drum but quickly adds other instruments, making it feel like battalions coming together on the battlefield to fight side by side against a dangerous enemy; you can hear the drums sound as the armies collide. The beat calms down a bit after the initial clash, but the other instruments add to the tension and signal more danger, and the piece builds again to its full might as the opposing armies collide once again. From there the piece keeps on rolling, never calming down, indicating a long and stressful battle until it suddenly stops. This track blew me off my feet when I first listened to it, and I gain additional appreciation for the epic beat and subtle shifts in the music every time I listen to it.

[P@D] Lavender – Gilded (feat. Namii) | Melodic Dubstep

Today we’ve got ourselves a song all about Lyra Heartstrings, everypony and sweet Celestia, is it great! The track starts out with just a slow beat that gradually gets more powerful while the lyrics set in and are instantly going to catch your attention. While you’re still mesmerized by the lyrics the song builds up towards the first drop which is prefaced by a single line before it hits in all its glory. The song doesn’t give you any time to breathe and immediately returns to catchy vocals and a short instrumental solo before the second drop, which is slightly different but no less awesome, and those differences really give the song a vibrant feeling to end on.

PrinceWhateverer & Jalmaan – Enemy Undefined | Drum & Bass/Metal

LOADING WRITING SYSTEMS……….
LOADING INTRO……..
Okay, everypony, today we have something special! “Enemy Undefined” is the sequel to “L_ST-_N-D_TA”, which makes this the third installment of PrinceWhatever’s “Destabilize” series which is all about Sweetie Bot getting her cover blown and having to flee; but enough of my rambling–let’s get straight to the song!

LOADING MAIN PART………
The song starts out with a muffled beat by Jalmaan which slowly gets louder and clearer, and you soon come to realize that you’ve gotten even more than you expected when clicking on this song. The lyrics, most of which are Sweetie Bot’s programming going completely haywire, begin with a system failure log and reveal Sweetie Bot’s unfortunate situation: In her current state, everyone else is seen as a threat, and lethal action is her default response. Sweetie Bot asks her pursuers if they believe that she is dangerous, and then, with just a small bit of beat as transition, the drop hits, with awesome guitar work accompanying the beat as Sweetie Bot prepares to fight whomever is chasing her, until a sounding alarm is accompanied by even more awesome guitar. Sweetie Bot then wonders: What will happen if she actually kills somepony; will that finally make her feel alive? As the drop hits, Sweetie Bot challenges her pursuers suggesting that they follow through decisively if they agree that she is a threat and warning that she is unlikely to surrender. Once again Sweetie Bot finds herself struggling to see anyone else as anything other than an “enemy” as the muffled beat resumes, creating a sense of tension and expectation. A short passage of lyrics ushers in the chorus as Sweetie Bot prepares for what might be her last standoff…

Red Spark – She Is the Night | Orchestral

Okay everypony, today we’ve got ourselves another Orchestral track from the talented Red Spark. Inspired by the artwork by Queen-KittyKat, this track is all about our favorite princess of the night. The song starts out with an amazing piano that immediately brings a sense of calm before the song hits you with some sweet strings that really give you the pleasant feeling of lying in your bed and looking at the stars. You feel relaxed because you know Luna is out there fighting against your nightmares. The piano and string combo is so epic I can only assume somepony has their dreams haunted by one of those Ursa Majors, and Luna has taken flight having saved the night again. The majestic strings then give way to just a piano accompanied by other instruments as the protector of dreams lays her head down to have some of her own.

[P@D] Dropper Vampire & Heartsong – Block Out The Sun (Feat. Koa) | Big Room House

So everypony today we return to Big Room House, with Dropper Vampire’s “Block Out The Sun”. This song starts out with a lovely amazing house beat, with shortly after the beginning Koa singing about how this is a new era for Equestria with her at the top and while a universe ruled by Koa doesn’t sound as bad, that thought quickly escapes as she commands her changelings to take over and reveals that she is singing Chrysalis. In the drop that happens right after the reveal you can hear why I called Big Room House a special genre, if well done, which this song more then is, BRH can create a upbeat melody that is dark at the same time creating a fantastic feeling for the whole drop. After the drop the beat makes way for a piano which reinforces this feeling of happy doom BRH always gives you. After the piano Koa explains more of her plan to infiltrate the ponies from within. After that the beat takes the main role for some time accompanied by an evil Koa laugh that, even after my tenth listen through still gives me shivers. Then buildup as Koa commands her changelings to finally execute her orders and take over Equestria.

[P@D] RedSpark – Thestrals Approaching | Orchestral

Please note that the story elements presented in this article are not official and purely inspired by the artwork of the video.

Pack your saddlebags and hold on to your hats everypony! We’re going on an adventure with this stunning orchestral piece by RedSpark! With an amazing flute accompanied by a lovely cello, this song starts out by hammering home the adventure theme. As the drums join in you leave your village behind and follow Princess Luna along the paths of the Everfree Forest. Horns come in as you reach the peak of a mountain and view the whole forest in all its glory, but there’s still a long way ahead. As the piece gets darker you feel as if you’re being followed, and every fiber of your being is concentrated on watching out for danger to the Princess. As the song grows lighter you finally relax and focus entirely on admiring the beautiful nature all around you. However as the drums return once more you free your gaze from the scenery and return to your military stance to protect Luna and trot onward. The strings create a stunning build up as you near your destination, and you can’t help but admire the natural wonders one more time as you near the clearing to which you’ve seen your friends escort the Princess to for weeks now. Everything goes silent as you break through the bushes, and then, as the orchestra returns with all its power, you see it: The castle of the two sisters, once a ruin, now fully restored to its former glory. You are let inside and are surprised by the intricate details in the castle’s construction. As the song ends you sit down in a chair and realize that the journey you made was worth it all along.

Yuru – Call Me Choco | Future Bass

Today we’ve got ourselves another lovely track from the talented Yuru (Redstone Brony on YT). The track starts out with the sound of an ocean which is immediately joined by the lovely main beat and some more natural sounds. A synth and a drum loop quickly join in to make the beat as lively as can be. Shortly thereafter most of the sounds stop and make way for a small but sweet build up,  and the drop is introduced by something I’ve only heard in one other song–a water drop sound–which really fits well not only with the ensuing, amazing synth fest that is the drop but also with the background image, creating an atmosphere of pure contentment. The drop itself is accompanied by voice samples and the sound of a camera click, reinforcing the beach theme of the track, and the water drop can be heard again as well. After the drop the whole beat goes silent to make way for a lovely Piano accompanied only by the sounds of nature, giving this part an amazing Chillout-vibe. After giving the listener a few moments to collect themselves, a new synth takes over accompanied by the drum loop, and more components are quickly added before the build up, which doesn’t take over this time. Instead it is simply adds to the already awesome track until, once again accompanied by the water drop, the drop takes over, making you dance once more. For the end the piano takes over again, this time accompanied by some lovely strings. This song is amazing, not only for the rare use of a water drop sound, but also for its fantastic combinations of synths followed by piano solos.

Ice Angel – Reunify Once More | Progressive House

Today we’ve got ourselves another song in celebration of the 10th anniversary, this time from the talented Ice Angel. The song starts out with a chord progression so lovely it will knock you off your feet, which is quickly built upon in an awesome way. Instead of a drop where you might expect one we’re met with another beat and even more awesome buildup, and this time we get to hear the awesome, breathtaking drop that is sure to make your head bob along. Then suddenly everything stops and makes way for an awesome piano solo. All of a sudden this House track turns into an epic orchestral piece which is sure to hype you up as the beat starts once more and builds up similarly until the synth changes, giving the whole song a feeling of a journey, a journey filled with awesomeness and unexpected adventures from start to finish. For the end the piano takes over again. My first reaction after listening to this song was to sit in silent for a solid minute until just letting out a single “wow”. Nothing more needs to be said. Go listen to the song!

Vylet Pony – Dream Stage | Alternative/Indie

Today we’ve got ourselves another song from the fabulous Vylet Pony! This song is part of her newest album “Super Pony World – Fairytails“, but let’s skip the rambling and get straight into it! The track starts out with some amazing slow strings, which quickly transition into a mix of Irish folk and tavern music. Later on the tavern theme takes over more, but the beat still keeps rather calm. Shortly thereafter the amazing voice of Vylet sets in welcoming all of us to the tavern where one goes to forget about the past. As a pre-chorus you can hear a choir of voices followed by an awesome instrumental part. After the chorus the barkeeper, who is also sung by Vylet, chimes in, and the two talk until the choir is heard again. This is followed up by what I can only describe as the best part of this song: for a few lines the beat takes a complete back seat while Vylet’s voice is layered, which causes the best effect I’ve heard in ages. This song is worth listening to for this part alone. After this the instrumentals resume, and in the end you can hear the other patrons of the Dream Stage talking as the rain falls. All in all this song is a masterpiece, and you should listen to it no matter what genre of music you enjoy!

Daniel Ingram – Being Big Is All It Takes (Faulty Remix) | Progressive House

Today we’ve got ourselves a remix by the talented Faulty. The song remixed, “Being Big Is All It Takes” by Daniel Ingram, certainly is a masterpiece in and of itself, so let’s take a look at what Faulty did with it, shall we? The track starts out with a lovely Progressive House beat, and the lyrics quickly join in. While the vocals tell us all about the CMCs new change you can hear the beat slowly building up. As the chorus sets in you are sure to bob your head along, if not dance along–it’s just that amazing. As the chorus ends everything calms down for just a second only for the beat and singing to resume in all their glory. As the CMCs sing their lines the beat continuously increases in awesomeness as it builds to the chorus (I think by now I don’t need to tell you how fantastic the chorus is), and it carries the song until the end.
To be quite honest this remix deserves its place in the hall of fame of the best remixes of show’s songs ever made, and it might just be the best “Being Big Is All It Takes” remix out there.
