[Equinity] PumpkinZ – Submarine | Future Garage
PumpkinZ’s new track, Submarine, skillfully captures the feeling of delving into the ocean’s expansive beauty on a wondrous submarine excursion! Immersive bass flows throughout the song, creating a sense of traveling through the sea, while steel-drum-band-type sounds add to the feeling of underwater fun. Images of bursts of bubbles, beautiful fish, and ocean scenery filled my head as I listened to this piece. I could see gentle sunlight gently filtering happily down from the ocean surface, while cool waves washed the sides of the submarine and refreshed the sea floor. The rhythmic beat maintained a feeling of vacation adventure, as opposed to merely drifting peacefully through a gentle sea. As I listened, it felt as though I’d fallen asleep to sounds of water dripping from my faucet and was transported to a dream world on a submarine adventure beneath the waves. Enjoy this immersive journey as you listen to this and other tracks on Equinity: Immersion!
Thunder Dash – The Overcomers | Piano Solo
This encouraging new track from Thunder Dash embodies the message of overcoming life’s many obstacles. The piece is divided into three distinct movements, all representing different phases of the life’s journey. A light and happy melody, introduced at the beginning and played throughout, produces an overall feel of positivity and optimism. This melody, however, falters deliberately at times, suggesting that life is not perfect, but it’s important to keep on going despite obstacles and mistakes. A darker section in the middle of the piece seems to represent the times when life’s struggles can feel almost overwhelming; the times when doubt and fear obscure our vision of the light at the end of the tunnel. However, joyful and encouraging tones quickly return, reminding us that life’s obstacles do not represent the end of the road and do not need to be permanent roadblocks that define us. For all of us who falter or fall at times, the message of this piece is to always get back up and to keep pushing forward with hope and determination. With major and minor key shifts and changes from higher to lower registers on the piano, life’s hills and valleys is clearly depicted, but the piece ends on a high note of victory over life’s struggles.
[Equinity] Spikey Wikey – Basic Waves | Future Bass
In keeping with the theme of Equinity’s latest album release, Immersion, this track by Spikey Wikey creates a truly immersive, journey-like atmosphere that delves into many facets of ocean beauty and adventure. At first, light melodies seem to bubble on the surface of the track like driftwood. Later, the melody deepens, suggestive of diving beneath the ocean surface to explore hidden treasures in its depths. At times, mystery seems to beckon, as the destination feels uncertain. The sensation of simply floating can be felt at other times. At one point, a breathy gasp from Twilight shifts the track into a frolicky, bouncy vibe that’s pure fun. At this climactic point, the music brings a feeling of release and wonder, as if the diver has just emerged from a seemingly endless underwater cave and entered a hidden world of beauty, fascination, and discovery. Enjoy the immersive journey as you listen to this amazing track on Equinity: Immersion!

Equinity’s latest album, Immersion, has just been released! Along with many epic new tracks comes Coffee Beans by PSFMer. Powerfully introspective and rhythmic, wafting waves of base undergird the track throughout. A call-of-the-wild, ambient atmosphere replete with bird cries and other exotic animal sounds creates a sense of being transported into the jungle in the midst of a mystical, magical safari. Complex rhythmic drum patterns add to the feel of an epic journey into the wild, where both danger and the promise of high adventure intermix and irresistibly beckon. Soft piano chords and gentle guitar plucks sooth the listener with waves of tranquility. Dipi11 – Sorry To Have Scared You | Alternate Electronic
Drawing inspiration from Fluttershy’s line “sorry to have scared you” from The Best Night Ever, Dipi11 returns with a funky track that combines both old and new. Intricate percussion and bouncy wubs add energy to upbeat melodies and Fluttershy’s voice, each adding an extra layer of fun and uniqueness to the track. Take an interesting trip down memory lane with this creative fusion of nostalgically videogame-esque sound design, lighthearted melodies, and cute vocal chops from Fluttershy!
Night Blaze – The Night the Lunar Ground Shifted | Orchestral / Soundtrack
Night Blaze creates a beautifully powerful mood in this orchestral piece that conveys an epic, interstellar feel from start to finish. The track skillfully balances the deep and dark elements of the night with the nighttime’s lighter elements of majesty and peace. The track begins with heavy, sustained piano chords that establish a weighty atmosphere. Soon, a twinkling melody casts forth the warm glow of a sky filled with constellations. Later, this light melody falls away and is replaced by emotional strings and majestic choirs undergirded by tympanic drumbeats of war in the heavens. Finally, the orchestra pulls away to highlight the piano and return to the beginning melody, creating a more peaceful, “the storm has passed” mood. Still, the solemn piano chords continue to the end, hinting that behind the curtain of beauty painted by the peaceful night, the storm has left much sadness and pain in its wake.
Japkozjad – Hi | Electro / Glitch-Hop
Inspired by the simple word “Hi” from Pinkie, Japkozjad delivers a catchy melody and fun sound design that perfectly fits the bouncy nature of our favorite pink party pony. Darker, glitchy sound design in the drop sections highlights the contrast between Pinkie’s upbeat, quirky personality and her undefinable, almost other-worldly nature. Even the melody itself is not all sunshine and rainbows; instead, it emphasizes Pinkie’s depth. Even though joy and laughter are her defining traits, she displays and array of emotion. She always comforts those feeling down in whatever way is needed, be it cheering them up with a party or just listening to the pony in need, perhaps, sometimes, even shedding a few tears with them. Even when she’s feeling down, it usually doesn’t take long for her to bounce back. This creative track really highlight the multifaceted aspects of Pinkie’s disposition while still keeping the overall upbeat tone she is known for.
Algo at All – just the view | Alternative Electronic / Ambient
Drawing inspiration from Autumn Blaze’s lyric, “just the view for company,” Algo at All skillfully captures Autumn’s conflicting emotions during her exile from the Kirin Village. This unique ambient track begins with neutral vibes but soon transitions into something darker, symbolic of how Autumn may have felt as she sat in solitude near her castaway-style hut and stared down at the beautiful valley below. The melancholy nature of the piece effectively conveys the pain of Autumn’s self-imposed isolation, the difficult choice she made in order to preserve her freedom of expression. The whispery background vocals hint at the quiet conversations that may have played softly in Autumn’s imagination, as she clung to the hope of one day sharing her thoughts with someone who would understand what she has lost and the price she has paid for her freedom. The piece soon gains a lighter mood, however, as Autumn sings of the importance of keeping her voice. The greatest strength of this track is the expression it gives to the progression of Autumn’s emotions throughout her exile. We can see her initial resolve, her subsequent doubt about that choice she has made, and finally, the joy she feels as she meets someone she can talk to. At this climactic moment, the fire is reignited within her as she celebrates her principled choice with more confidence than ever.
