A heavy and dirty track about the insane multi-personality Pinkie Pie inspired by “Cupcakes”; this track sure punches you in the face! You know, I’ve come to know Nyancat380 with talks about music with him, about how there is much “method to his madness” and how he seems to do things with his musical arrangement by blending hardcore elements into anything he does. This song is a pretty good example of that! We get one side of Pinkie: her angry, crazy and violent side, and then you get deep and dark drops with heavy dubstep bass that just shows off Pinkamena’s vile and aggressive side. With a giggle from Pinkie, the song then speeds up and these really odd and weird almost D&B elements come into play. Quickly after, everything only gets more crazy as if to tell you that this is the twisted maniac Pinkie talking; she just wants to have fun with her toys with you. Nyancat380 is a mad maestro of hardcore electronic music and this track just tells you that right to you face. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.

Toby Macarony – Autumn’s Stars | Alternative Electronic
Toby is at it again with their distinctive style and flare! This one is a surprisingly tranquil piece with a very soothing atmosphere, a groovy bassline and a plethora of wonderful instrumentation. Choirs? Pan flutes? Grungy breakbeats? This has it all and has an astounding dynamic range! I’ve always been a Kirin fan and I just have to say I don’t know how they do it. Making ethnic inspired melodies, groovy basses and choirs work together in harmony but once again Toby knocked it out of the park!

Just You and Me, and ponies… Let us get overwhelmed by the cuteness and wholesomeness of this new track by Tw3Lv3, with such a cute and tender instrmental full of Equestrian vibes, matching the cover art to perfection! This is so MLP-like and innocent, I love it so much!

And then you look at the track length and think, praised be the Princess of the Sun, for Her holy inspiration descended upon DAϟH to tell them the unspoken secrets that kept the creativity flowing for that long! Maybe Pinkie visited too, with that sweet Speedcore pace… Either way, go taste this experimental beauty and show your support to DAϟH!!
SweetF1RE – Princess of Love | Happy Hardcore
Today we’ve got ourselves a lovely Happy Hardcore track by SweetF1RE, featuring our favourite Princess of Love. The track begins with just a simple crash and then immediately starts with the beat. The beat in the beginning is very video game sounding and makes for a nice intro but quickly changes to something more pop sounding with the earlier beat coming in again later for a lovely combination. After that the beat changes and becomes a bit simpler to make way for the lovely Cadence vocal chops. As a little transition SweetF1RE uses an effect that frankly I’ve never heard before, and after that the beat returns once more to the pop-y beat but still keeps the vocal chops. Later the video game melody returns once more, but then we get a whole other beat making for an amazing progression.

Sawtooth Waves – Flurry’s Part (feat. Vylet Pony) | Alternate Electronic
Today we’ve got ourselves another great song by Sawtooth Waves which is once again paired with an amazing PMV by daspacepony. For this track they got the help of Vylet Pony, who provides the awesome lyrics. The track starts out with a lovely melody and then adds a drum loop with a background buildup that comprises the entire track buildup even though it’s just one sound and the rest stays the same. And for the drop we get treated to a little reference; the start is essentially an extended version of Sawtooth’s intro with some pitched background vocals by Vylet Pony. After that we return back to the normal melody and more lyrics by Vylet Pony, but this time it’s not pitched vocals anymore, and Vylet gives us more or less a partial cover of the show’s “You’ll Play Your Part” while the PMV changes the meaning from Twilight’s Part to Flurry’s Part. While all this happens we once more get the build up to another drop along with a more extended intro and the pitched background vocals, and we end on the last part of the original “You’ll play your part” show song. As I mentioned before this song has an entire PMV attached to it; daspacepony once again went all out on the visuals incorporating different things along with his animation including visualizers and lyrics being displayed throughout.

Violin Melody – Hope (Nicolas Dominique Remix) | Uplifting Trance
Today we return once again to Nicolas Dominique, this time with an amazing remix to Violin Melody’s “Hope”. The track starts out with a lovely drum loop and quickly the synths, who are muffled at first become clearer and take over, later on another synth joins in which really gives this song power. Later the song changes a bit and we get an all new combination of drum loop and synths giving everything a lovely progression. This track is more on the simple side and that, for me, is actually something I prefer in combination with trance, this happy simple melody makes it perfect for working while the song is in the background to keep your spirits high.

Thunder Dash – Celestia’s Anthem To The Sun | Pipe Organ Ballad
Now for something very different and pleasant. We don’t get a lot of classy musical scores that pay tribute to Celestia’s character, let alone a score done by a pipe organ! I am not going to lie. It is nice that her character is at last getting a song like this. Let’s put aside for a moment how she was used in the show and focus of her character. Celestia is everything we could want in an all-powerful character. She is wise, she is very beautiful, she is very nurturing and supportive, and she is very powerful with full control of her Alicorn magic! At her core however, she’s just a regular pony. She will talk, guide, and be supportive of anyone that she can help. She is somepony that, through just a conversation, can not only make you feel comforted, warm, and cozy, but also powerful, mighty, and ready for a fight if needed.
The score of this song along with the artwork (WOW!) speaks to these strengths and touches on how precious she really is to a lot of bronies, Thunder Dash has put together something that Celestia’s fans can really just listen to and smile. Just close your eyes and picture yourself in the room with Celestia in all her glory enjoying this song with all of her dear ponies that she loves so very much. TheBluishPony – Wub Wubs | Electro
You know, the use of 15.ai with pony voices can be very creative and pretty useful if done right. In the case of TheBluishPony, this track seems to pay homage to everyone’s favorite Vinyl Scratch! As the track is titled, there are various types of WUBS in this track. Big one, little ones, rumbling ones, popping ones, vibing ones, crushy ones, all with this smooth and cool baseline to back the track as the wubbing carries on! While I’m not sure what to think of the pony AI characters talking so much trash, the music itself it like all of us reacting to it live, hehe! Overall, this track is smooth and delightful. As always this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
