This ASOS: Brownie track can be best described as energetic and quick. It has mostly electronic/kind of dubstep music, along with some orchestral music in the middle and towards the end, which really gives the track an upbeat vibe, and overall is a fun and catchy track!
[P@D] Lavender – Once Again (feat. Synthis) | Liquid Drum & Bass
While Lavender has been in the scene for years and years, track 12 from Ponies at Dawn: Ignite is her P@D debut! Once Again is a liquid drum and bass track with some atmospheric and haunting vibes along with the vocal talents of Synthis, who really makes this piece come to life. The soft synth sounds and effects on Synth’s voice stick out, adding to the song’s melancholy nature. In addition to Ignite, this will also be featured on her upcoming album Fragile Heart!
Koron Korak – Rise and Fall (feat. Thöbe) | Drum & Bass
Koron’s new collab with Thöbe is a foray in sharper synths resulting from tasteful inspirations, and the gorgeous vocals are definitely empowering the track! I’m especially a fan of the added melodic Flutterchops and the effect on them, so cool and creative!
RedSpark – Progress | Electro Swing
There are always so many original ideas of fan songs to be had while rewatching the show, and RedSpark illustrates that once more with this creative and fitting spin on the Flim & Flam brothers! The Electro Swing genre works very well and you can easily imagine this as a BGM or character theme for the brothers in the show!
[P@D] GrazySmash – Damodaraya | PsyTrance
Ready for some psychedelic vibes? Track 17 from Ponies at Dawn: Ignite is Damodarya, a Psytrance song from GrazySmash, the first of his three submissions to the album. There’s an entrancing vocal sample that makes for the hook of the song, which takes influence from world music and Goa trance, a la the likes of Juno Reactor. Makes you really want to dance, doesn’t it?
[P@D] Totalspark – What Remains | Liquid Drum & Bass
Totalspark’s style is unique in a way that makes it instantly recognizable, whichever genre they work with as long as it is one you can chill to. Part of the reason for it is the chord progressions and pads in their intros, executed beautifully in this one. In What Remains, Totalspark’s vocals shine once more, delivering the poetry in the lyrics splendidly. You can find it among other wonders on Ponies At Dawn – Ignite.
GeekBrony – Pony Zone: Round Two (feat. 15ai) | Hip-Hop

Definitely not something you’d play in public unless you’re super brave. Contains sexual language!
[P@D] The Wasteland Wailers – Spun | Classic Rock
Raise your hand if you’re late to party about the Wastelands Wailers. *This writer does*. But its no matter. The first time hearing Haymaker and Brittney Church was refreshing. You’re treated to classic rock and roll with very well sung lyrics. About a pair of lovebirds trying to get by in the wastelands of Equestria. Long time fans of this group will know that their music is based off the Fallout Equestria fanfic series, and the work done by them for OvermareStudios. The guitars are very smooth, gritty and romantic. The track is a throwback to the 80’s style rock and romance like someone like Bruce Springsteen would do. It’s nice P@D Ignite still tries to put all kinds of genre’s on their albums. Classic rock is nice art that should be done more, way more. As always, This Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Koron Korak – Twilight Sparkle Music Box Melody | Music Box
Ever wanted your very own Twilight Sparkle Music Box? Now you can, for the low price of 1,000 Equestrian Bits! The music that plays in the box is a recreation and extension of the music that plays from the box Twilight forms in A Royal Problem, sounding cute as ever. 30 seconds in, it sounds even more twinkly and lovely to the ears! Along with this came a hilarious commercial for it, which you can check out here.
[P@D] Greyfade – Outcast | Future Garage
This next track will go right to your heart. 69. On P@D Ignite, we have something a bit more emotional and the feeling of being lost. Greyfade has made a track that tells of a brony trying to find his way in this fandom. The brony is him. Not every brony finds their circle right away; it’s not always friendship is magic. The Melody is hazy and uncertain but as the song goes on, it lightens up and more peaceful and curious melodies are brought in. You can indeed feel the anxiety of this track as the song goes on. Telling a story without words is nothing short of good musical storytelling. I believe that we have all felt like an outcast even in this fandom, but we find our way when you do meet your friends, and by the sounds of it Greyfade did. As always this Qilin asks you judge for yourself.
