Bright vocal chops, reflective melodies, and enthralling drops are making this collab between AJ Young and loophoof such a success, as the unique skills of the musicians assemble! Grab this emotional masterpiece as part of P@D Eternal!
Daniel Ingram – The Magic of Friendship Grows (Toby Macarony Remix) | Alternate Electronic
Toby’s remix of the finale’s song brings fitting emotional vibes with a piano completing the original vocals, and making for a reflective atmosphere. The creative progression also features the musician’s signature musical style, and a callback the the Theme Song at the end just like it happened at the end of the original..!! Definitely a very appreciated remix to extend the emotions from the finale…
[P@D] Hoofy – Devastation | Dubstep
Hoofy’s contribution to P@D Eternal is as wicked as it gets, with mad wubs and crazy drops blasting the power of Dubstep and showcasing the musician’s talent! Some Chrysalis plotting was added to the mix for extra flair, and overall this is quite the masterpiece of heavy bass music!
[P@D] Redhose vs Pegasas – Under The Shadow | Hybrid Trap / Drumstep
This one is unique. Pegasas was featured on Ponies At Dawn: Eternal for this track and I have to say its one of my favourites from the album. Taking a heavy influence from Hip hop and Trap production this track has a strong backing groove with a very nice flow in its lyrics. The highlight of course is when you come to the drops. They hit hard and heavy and bring with them a very syncopated style of percussive sound and words can only go so far. This one really is easier to hear for yourself and I love the creativity used in this one!
[P@D] The Wasteland Wailers – Friendship from Fire | Symphonic Ballad
The Wasteland Wailers never fail to deliver and Friendship from Fire is another instant classic! The track utilizes gorgeous orchestral composition and instrumentation with Brittany Church’s heart-melting voice. The string section sets a somber tone, the drums add an epic, controlled, energy, and the vocals are crystal clear. While the story of the song is mostly of loss, the punchline leads to a very determined, and optimistic tone – capitalized by the incredible bridge and outro at the end.
Dizzy Inmotion – Spellshatter | Hip-Hop
Another piece of her Battle of the Bands concept, Dizzy Inmotion brings us this clever take off of Under Our Spell from Rainbow Rocks. Spellshatter is a self-hyping track with quick punches and great flow, talking up the dazzling personalities. The synth chords and word play pay great homage to the Equestria Girls hit while bringing a lot of creativity and Diz’s own personality to the forefront.
GeekBrony – Eager To Explore | Soundtrack
A track part of the OST of the in-development fan game PoniGame, Eager To Explore gives that “Town of Beginning” vibe with that longing for adventuring in a newfound world, with hopes in your eyes, excitement about meeting your future party members, and an unbreakable will to see what’s wrong til it’s right! Definitely a beautiful composition and comfy atmosphere!
[P@D] iblank2apples – Baby Carrots | Electro House
A fine example of what I call the “P@D effect”, this crazy banger from iblank2apples blows away with such a rich sounscape, and a surprising progression that showcases such creativity and refined sound design in pure iblank2apples style. The last part especially gets me crazy everytime! Earlier today I was listening to this song again while traveling in the tramway, and I was smiling like an idiot in public just because of how insane that part is!! Definitely in my top favorites from Ponies at Dawn Eternal!
[P@D] ExplodingPonyToast, LutariFan & ThatMusicBrony – Start Again (Too Taken Remix) | Future Bass
Drift away with Too Taken’s remix of Start Again, perfect for any serene background. It incorporates the vocals of the original overtop the most cavernous drums and electric piano harmonies until a surprisingly nonchalant drop of bells and FM sounding synths. Glittered with jazzy chords, saxophones, and an electric piano solo near the end, it serves as a grace to the golden oldie that is the original. Wafting through time comes with ease with this colorful track on repeat.
This track is available as part of Ponies at Dawn Eternal.
[P@D] BlackIceMusic – The Fuff | Melbourne Bounce
“I’m Kerfuffle, spelled like it sounds but with a double *FFFFF* for the ‘fuff’!”
Track 39 from Ponies at Dawn Eternal, we have BlackIceMusic doing what they do best: Melbourne Bounce. True to its name, The Fuff is a bouncy track based on easily one of the most memorable characters from MLP Rainbow Roadtrip – Kerfuffle – and is sprinkled with samples of her voice among others from the special in addition to the infectiously groovy track. Let’s hope this kickstarts a wave of Kerfuffle songs!
