Time for even more emotions! Koron Korak brings us a wonderful Acoustic cover of the much emotional finale song from the movie, playing violin, drums and guitar himself with much passion and coolness too! Let the emotional sound of the violin reawaken and extend the feelings that you got from the movie’s ending, as we partake in that joy again, being united with the ones we love no matter the distance…
Thank you for this, Koron! I’ll never forget the times we spent rewatching the movie together with Mane, and how you released this now as a tribute. Stay awesome! ❤
Mane In Green – Belle De Nuit | Orchestral
Mane In Green displays his incredible talent and very potent magic once more with a new heartfelt piece, this time inspired from an adorable dream he had involving Fluttershy, and Belle De Nuit flowers that only bloom at night. Perhaps that dream was a gift from Luna… The piece certainly feels magical from the intense emotions I got while listening to it, and through the course of its progression, the piano, bells, winds and strings all contribute to guide the soul to a beautiful place in a flower garden filled with those flowers. The finale of the song brings the emotions to their pinnacle with a very powerful moment taking you by surprise. A much emotional piece from the green-haired maestro that shows once more how music can convey much more than what words alone can.
Also on a personal note, I got to listen to this track for the first time with the musician himself being next to me IRL, and that was such a wonderful and amazing experience ❤ Keep it up Mane!!
DJT & Rusyd Rosman – Breathing Space (Shuffle Horse Remix)| Deep House / Bounce
I’ve not heard Shuffle Horse’s music before apart from his song on the recent A State of Sugar compilation, Bubblegum, but color me impressed! This remix of DJT and Rusyd Rosman’s lovely Breathing Space focuses on a tight groove and, boy, the shuffle in Shuffle Horse’s is in full effect on this song. This has to be one of the most danceable pony songs of the year. The potential for bangers to come is insane with this guy, definitely one to look out for! Did I mention he’s 15?
Eurobeat Brony – Luna 2018 (feat. Odyssey) | Eurobeat
Continuing the trend of 2018 comebacks, after two whole years, the original brony musician returns, this time with a remake of his first original pony song, Luna. Though he has been very active in playing pony conventions, this is his first Suffice to say, it’s everything you could ever ask for in a remake and more. The beginning features some breathtaking orchestration before introducing the lead melody we all know and love. The mixing is sharper, the atmosphere is augmented three times over, and Odyssey’s vocals retain the same charm as the original. This one’s essential, guys. And, just like the original, if you’re not a fan of growled vocals, there’s a Dream Mode to go along with the Nightmare Mode linked above.
Andy Feelin – Шесть замечательных поней (Six Little Ponies) (feat. Tooi) | Gypsy Jazz
Here’s something a little different! Andy Feelin of the prolific Przewalski’s Ponies brings some groovy, almost gypsy jazz-esque vibes with this one, and Tooi delivers some heavenly vocals with lyrics about the ponies exploring the Everfree Forest, the northern mountains, and other parts of Equestria. Check this one out if you’re a fan of Lenich and Kirya’s gypsy jazz or Przewalski’s Ponies!
One Track Mind – Piece Myself Together | Piano
Piece myself together. A fitting title for a Fitting melody Imo. And quite frankly, I can really relate too. as I myself am still trying to piece myself Together. Its human we make misstakes, but we learn of humanity when we cope with those misstakes. Celestia banishing Luna to the moon for a thousand years must’ve had a horrible impact on her Mental state. (But thank fate the story had a happy ending regarding that.)
It’ll never cease to amaze me though, how a story such as this involving non humans still feels the most human. And I take full pride and saying I recognise and feel this feeling. ❤ Well done Track, everybody show some love!
Vylet Pony – Sailing Away | Chillout
NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 9 August 2018.
Another track from Vylet’s recently released Aloe & Lotus EP, this chilled out track has some gorgeous vocals provided by him, including some really nice layering every now and then to add some depth. The instrumental is full of cool vibes and the lof-fi percussion fits in especially well.
Daniel Ingram – The Spectacle (Superplastic Remix) | Hardstyle
Aaaand we have another comeback! The name may not sound familiar, but the artist formerly known as Addictia has made a return with one of the best hardstyle tunes I’ve heard in a while, fandom or otherwise. Featured are some intriguing background vocal chops, creative percussion, lovely synths and great tension, and a cathartic hardstyle drop with a fine, fine kick! To top it all off, the drop’s melody is insanely catchy. A lot of ponies have been waiting for a great hardstyle remix of The Spectacle and I’m happy to say it has arrived!
Brilliant Venture- Celestial Summit VIP | Electro House
Brilliant Venture is finally back! His last release, Moved On, was featured on Cider Party and is a very personal and emotional song. However, he wasn’t inactive due to a lack of inspiration. Far from it, he was preparing ten (count ’em, ten) unreleased tracks for premiere at TrotCon (his set was wonderful, by the way!), and this is the first to go up online. Whereas Moved On dealt with his personal life struggles, Celestial Summit VIP is a pseudo-remix of Celestia’s Ballad from season 3’s finale, sampling it heavily through vocal chops and otherwise. It retains the emotion and the energetic wubs from Moved On, fans will be happy to discover. As usual, Brilliant Venture also draws heavily from the music and overall vibes of the old brony fandom. A treat for any fan of the original or Celestia junkie!
Daniel Ingram – Open Up Your Eyes (Notion Remix) | Future Bass / House
YOU’RE WATCHING IN
~ W I D E S C R E E N F O R M A T ~
Not content with just one genre, Notion’s put his spin on Tempest’s famous solo piece with a blend of house and future bass. While it’s a shame we still can’t get properly isolated vocals for the track, the concept behind this remix is really interesting and a pretty unique take on the song!
