It is always wonderful to write for orchestral songs, and here we are with another great orchestral piece from none other than the absolute orchestra unit; Ethan Toavs! And this time he didn’t just provide us with a tribute track to a Rarity, it’s a G3 Rarity track. And I think that is epic! Rarity’s character has through the ages always been splendid and as wondrous as her colour pallet. You can be sure, that the same goes for G3! And through this wholesome and joyful orchestral piece you get a nice input of how majestic this pony truly is!
Sparklight Productions – Paradox | Electronic EP
8 months in the making, Sparklight Productions presents their debut EP! This collection of 7 songs flows together with a unifying soundscape blending chillout, trap and lo-fi elements. Each one of the songs also represents a different aspect of mental health, and Sparklight’s goal with this project has been not only to document and express their own progression and stages of their journey, but also to break the stigma that still surrounds mental illness for many people.

Voting opens for the Top 25 Brony Songs of 2022
Hey, I was just talking about this yesterday! It’s here – the big vote is upon us! The rules are slightly different this time in that you must for between 5 and 25 songs this time round, but everything else remains the same. Only songs released in the year 2022 will count, and you can use any of Luck Rock’s monthly playlists from 2022 to search for potential selections. You can also look through our archives to get an idea of what to vote for (we’re almost caught up with 2022 songs!). You can find the voting form here, which is open for 2 weeks instead of the usual 1 (closes 29 Jan at 3pm Eastern). Happy voting and see you in a couple of weeks for the results! 👀
ALostCarolean – The Last Survivor | Darksynth / Industrial
Flying out of the gate at full throttle, this track won’t even give you a second before it hits you with everything it has! ALostCarolean as been drip feeding their darksynth EP “The Hive” over the past couple months and The Last Survivor is no slouch of a song. Nailing the retro feel, high octane energy, and dark atmosphere of the genre this track has everything from icy pads to metal-esque saw chords and all the sounds you love to hear in a high speed cyberpunk genre! Definitely give this a listen if you’re just finding out about it now as well as the other two tracks in the playlist.

Ethan Toavs – Rainbow Dash | Orchestral
Ethan Toavs has brought us another upbeat, light-hearted orchestral track by the name of “Rainbow Dash”. Inspired by the G3 rainbow pony, his sparkling orchestration definitely gives me a vibe of wandering around in a magical adventure in Equestria. You’ll certainly feel a passion to explore the bigger world as brass instruments make their debut with a lively, triumphant sound. Be sure to give it a listen if you are in the mood for a fun and joyful excursion!
4everfreebrony – I’ll Show You My Loyalty (feat. PrinceWhateverer) [covering PhonyBrony] | Rock
Two guitar legends have teamed up once more, to bring us another epic Rainbow Dash cover track! PhonyBrony’s magical work keeps shining through, as it’s also this time supported by no other than PrinceWhateverer and 4everfreebrony. And it’s beautiful how the loyalty is presented here once again! Epic vocals, stunning guitar work, and just the pure amount of energy rushing through this track… What an incredible thing to listen to! It’ll never cease to amuse me, how so many beautiful yet different styles can come together to bring forward a song that combines so much of each other… And than spreads it’s wings with a rush of glory and determination, PERFECTLY complimenting Rainbow Dash’s character. You both earned your wings truly, great work you two!
Vylet Pony – No Matter What (10 Year Anniversary – 2022) ft. Sylver Stripe & Namii | Indie Pop
10 Years of No matter What… What a beautiful way to celebrate it throughout THIS rendition of it! Vylet delivers us this epic indie pop track with the back-up of Namii and Sylver Stripe, phenomenal musicians in their own rights as well! And oh… how the energy, passion, and power just RUSHES through you! And of course, how can I forget; the love… Vylet once again reminds us through the power of her music; love IS the most powerful force in the universe! Remember WHO you are, and the game is going to change because of it….No Matter What. Congratulations on a 10 year Anniversary! Proud of you all!
EveryDayDashie – Mane Melody Nightclub 2.0 | Trance
When one version of a song isn’t enough pony, pony gotta pony some more! This rework of Dashie’s nightclub theme sees him bring together several different styles and influences; not just the electronic sounds of trance and electro, but pianos and saxes playing solos with jazz harmony. Didn’t think I’d ever see that combination, but it works really well to create a lively and danceable piece!
Vylet Pony – Brohoof | Pop / Midtempo
Oh you BET I am ready to get groovy! How about you, dear reader of this article, joining me on witnessing the wonder of Vylet Pony’s musical works once again? How does she keep doing it? We get to listen this time to “Brohoof” a certified original gangster greeting if you will. And of course, an absolute classic! I love all the references throughout the track mixed with the extremely hyped up vibe and yet how smoooooth~ everything is. Vylet does it once again, like she ALWAYS does – bringing forward a great track with a great story to tell and bringing forward THE groove! Legit, Stay amazing you… /)
