Ponified The Strokes? Ponified The Strokes! The thing that impresses me the most about this is how closely it resembles the original Reptilia. From the guitar tone to the vocal performance (and the touch of overdrive), it just FEELS like a Strokes song! And of course 4everfree’s talent for lyrics shines through in this song, and how he manages to bring the story behind to life in a new light.

AndNoOneDriving – In The Magical Land | Rock
The landscape begins rushing by seemingly never-ending and full of vistas each more epic than the last. In the Magical Land takes you on a grand journey through the fantastical land of Equestria by gently inviting your gaze toward a simple landscape, gradually guiding you into increasingly epic sights and experiences, and finally allowing you to settle down in a peaceful field to take it all in. This piece by AndNoOneDriving is a wonderful musical portrait that may even enhance one’s personal image of just how beautiful Equestria could be. If you enjoyed this song be sure to check out more of AndNoOneDrving’s incredibly inspired music such as For Queen Chrysalis.

Luck Rock – You Are a Princess | Alternative Rock
New release by Luck Rock, and you know what that means! Alt Rock pony time! This time focusing on Twilight’s character depth, Luck made a wonderful tribute with more focus on vocals and keyboards, and the lovely vocals as well as the very “Twilight” melodies and sounds all do wonders to bring a very cute and warm experience for the ears as well as the soul!
AndNoOneDriving – Bitter Daybreaker | Post Rock
The second of AndNoOneDriving’s recent Post Rock ventures, this progressive piece is about Celestia and a part of her character depth that many have pondered about already – a potential thirst for power, and using all that powerful magic sealed within. The advent of Daybreaker (despite only in a dream) in S07E10 A Royal Problem caused a paradigm shift for some, and the inspiration it gave to the community won’t fade for a while. Bitter Daybreaker is another proof of that, with heavy guitars and epic melodies hinting at a possible power outbreak from the Princess of the Sun, and delivering one amazing musical experience much fitting to its concept.

AndNoOneDriving – Wind to the Wing | Post Rock
Being inspired by Post Rock gigs at a pony convention, and several pony themes, AndNoOneDriving wrote amazing and meaningful Post Rock tracks of his own and this is the first of them! Paying tribute to Scootaloo’s very relatable character depth and feelings (for me too), Wind to the Wing is an incredible progressive piece featuring both soft parts of blissful guitar melodies, and heavier parts expressing feelings with the power of rock music! The bass play is delightful as well and perhaps it’s no coincidence given that “Scootabass” Scootaloo is often portrayed playing a bass guitar in fanarts. Wind to the Wing is definitely a masterpiece, to enjoy over and over again!

Rockin’Brony – I’ll Fly Higher (covering AcoustiMandoBrony) | Rock
I’ll Fly Higher is probably my favourite of the collabs Acoustic Brony and Mandopony did back in the day, and it’s great to hear Rockin’ take on a full cover of the entire 7-minute song, instruments and all! Whether or not you enjoy some of the fandom ‘classics’, go take a listen to this, Rockin’ given it his all for a fantastic cover.
Sprocket – Rhythm of the Forest | Progressive Rock / Synthwave
Themed around the many sides of the Everfree Forest (more details in the description of the Bandcamp upload), Rhythm of the Forest is a surprising and inventive blend of many electronic and rock influences. We notably find Progressive Rock and Synthwave in the mix, with notes of Psychedelic Rock and the early electronic musicians’ sound. A blooming experiment shining in the dark like Poison Joke in the Everfree Forest, this gem of a track is expressing the many wonders of the forest in delightful musical ways.
Osoch – Heal the Soul | Alternative Rock
As a wonderful surprise, Osoch deviates from his heavier material and brings us a very beautiful track of hope and inspiration. Inspired by the Fallout Equestria universe, Heal the Soul is a prime example of how to make a song build up with energy – starting with soft, emptiness and ambiance, growing to a very satisfying, moving chorus, and then expertly switching back to build again. Osoch sings of the many difficult trials ahead and the better days to follow, utilizing brilliant harmonies and epic backing instrumentals along the way.
Rockin’Brony – Laughter (Covering AcoustiMandoBrony) | Pop Rock
Rockin’Brony keeps his incredible cover saga going with this super-charged version of AcoustiMandoBrony‘s Laughter. Those that remember listening to the original way back when will definitely be jamming along to the familiar beat, and those that may not be familiar will get the fun of rocking out to this song for the first, and certainly not last, time! Rockin’Brony uses his guitar expertise to bring tons of energy to this track and blends it all expertly with an awesome synth, powerful drums, and his very fitting, well-performed vocals!
eksoka – Lachryphagy (Acoustic Mix) | Progressive Rock / Acoustic
An incredible new version of the original Lachryphagy, this Acoustic Mix focuses on expressing the mixed feelings you have when you realize the changeling’s right to simply feed themselves and follow their nature. Originally seen as villains, you start accepting them and feeling for them, thus offering them comfort and understanding, a warm lapse of solace in all the antagonism. And this track reflects that blissful time and those heart-warming feelings to perfection. Soft drums, bittersweet acoustic guitars, pure-hearted synths, and a switch to a divine part including an electric guitar solo, all convey so much emotion and match the concept in incredible beauty, proving once again eksoka’s incredible talent and vision like none other.
